Slight hiccup
Ok, so yesterday I was supposed to have my procedure and I went in and got settled, changed into the operating gown and prepped ready to start the procedure. I've never had any type of surgical procedure before which means I've also never gotten a cannula in my had before, so cut to me bracing myself for the sting and pain of that, which turned out to not be bad at all! However that didn't stop me from fainting immediately after... I was out cold for around 3 minutes and awoke to all the nurses and Dr Suthipong overnight over me as I laid on the floor.
Only time I've ever fainted was previously when getting a blood test in which they took 6 vials of blood and I hadn't had anything to eat that morning. But that was just for around 15 seconds. Anyway, so we decided to postpone the procedure until the 28th and instead of doing it in his clinic (which is state of the art) he is moving me to a hospital to be put under a deeper sedation and so that I can be monitored more closely as an extra safety precaution.
Honestly quite embarrassed at my bodies overreaction. Weird thing is I'm not usually afraid of needles, I've had Botox, Juvederm Voluma, flu shots, but I think it was a combination of being in an operating room, nervous and getting a cannula for the first time that triggered this involuntary reaction.
Also, will make sure I'm laying down next time as I was sitting when getting this cannula yesterday.
Stay tuned.

Day one in Bangkok
Drives last night and a driver was waiting for me with my name on a piece of paper. 2 nights hotel were complimentary by Rattinan Clinic and the hotel was literally next door to the clinic, amazing.
I went by the clinic at 10am and got a piece of paper with blood test instructions and had to take it to the Bangkok Christian Hospital which is basically across the street. The facilities of Rattinan look beautiful and tastefully decorated, gave an air that this is a high quality establishment.
Everyone speaks decent English and I was in and out of the hospital within about 45 minutes. Results take around 2 hours and once in hand I'll be heading back to the clinic.

Bodytite in Bangkok: Rattinan Clinic
I'm 37 years old and an active gym goer who will workout on average 5 times a week. My body fat is probably around 13% but it seems to sit all round my lower abdomen and flanks.
I know myself well enough to be realistic about the fact that I won't ever be ok so weighing all the components of a meal to 'count my macros' because let's face it who wants to live like that and even if you do have success doing things that way how sustainable is it really.
So my motivation to get Bodytite is to combat this stubborn area of fat and hopefully with my current workout habits, keep it off.
My appointment is set for December 25, 2017 to get blood work done and the procedure is scheduled for December 26th 2pm. My communications have been via email/Facebook messenger and LINE. They have been quite good with responding so up till this point I'm ether pleased with this first point of contact phase.
I will arrive in Bangkok on the 24th and Rattinan has offered to provide a car to pick me up, nice touch indeed.
I will update as my journey progresses.
