I’m a 43 yrs old woman, mother of 2 kids. Ever since I had my kids my waist became very boxy, no matter how much weight I would lose. I workout regularly and try to eat healthy, even though I don’t eat healthy all the time.
Last month I went in for a Smart Lipo consultation. Dr. Schimpf and his staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The day of the appointment:
I first met with one of his nurses and she went over the procedures and answered some questions. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She asked me to change to a gown and checked my problem areas and also checked my skin elasticity. She said I was a great candidate for the procedure. Dr.Schimpf came in and sat down to talk to me. Asked me a few questions, answered all of my questions and recommended BodyTite. I was excited about getting the skin on my belly a little tighter. I have to mention that most doctors are in a rush and I felt Dr. Scimpf took his time with me and NEVER made me feel like he didn’t have time to answer questions. That is so important to me.
Once the appointment was over, I met with the surgical scheduler. She went over the payment and scheduling the procedure. I never felt pressured. I scheduled my surgery and later on had a family emergency and had to reschedule. They were so accommodating and understanding. I am so pleased with them so far.
My surgery is scheduled for next week. I am so looking forward to having a smaller waist and flatter stomach.
I will continue to update on surgery day and post surgery.

I will be having this procedure done December 2nd. I'm excited to see your post op pics. I think you're the only one who described your before figure the way I currently feel about mine!!! I too hope that my Dr can fix my body midsection that all the years of diet and exercise could not. Best of luck♥️ I'm so excited for you

I like your results, but to be clear you only had body tite & not smart lipo although you went in for Lipo consultation.

Body tite is lipo plus the skin tightening procedure. Honestly, I didn't see any difference on my skin, but the price was the same as lipo alone. It was worth the try.

Yesterday I was at the office early to get my procedure. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Upon arrival they asked me to do a urine sample and then walked me into the room. They asked me Several questions, asked me to get on the scale, took my temperature and blood pressure. I changed into a gown and disposable underwear, and they took pictures.
The anesthesiologist came in and asked me some questions, and walked me to the OR. The nurses were there waiting. What a wonderful crew Dr. Schimpf has in his office. They were so nice and helpful. The anesthesiologist put in my IV, we exchanged stories and before I knew I was asleep.
Woke up to the anesthesiologist talking to me. He was very easy on the eye ( haha) didn’t mind waking up to him. They dressed me and I was ready to go home. I was in a little bit of pain. I asked for my pain killers and the nurse suggested to wait until I had something in my stomach.
Once I was home, I felt a burning pain for a couple of hours and eventually the feeling went away. I am so glad I had my boyfriend here helping me out. I could have not done this on my own.
Towards the end of the day we change the bandages and the binder. I had a lot of fluids dripping down my body. The doctor said it was normal, but it was a little nerve racking for me.
It was uncomfortable getting in and out of bed and sleeping.

I have returned to my daily routine and have been feeling much better. I only took pain medication on the day of the surgery and the day after. Been feeling good enough that I don’t need any kind of pain medication. It’s still a little uncomfortable sitting for long period of time. I haven’t started going to the gym. I will definitely start next week with some light cardio. I’m still extremely swollen, I don’t see much difference yet, I know it’s way too early to tell.
I don’t fit in my normal clothes and I can’t wear sweatpants all the time, so I went to target and purchased a pair of maternity jeans. I can wear my binder underneath and no one can tell and I’m comfortable.
I will report back next week.
