I did my procedures to make me look more normal looking. To help me look how I feel on the inside. I felt like if I left the skin I could easily fill it back up. I had to get rid of it to help me ensure I would not gain it back.

After losing 136 lbs with diet and exercise I went looking for a PS. A friend referred me to Dr. L. I had an upper body lift in April 2009. For those unfamiliar with the procedure it combines arms, bra fat on sides, underarms, and breast lift. I had a lower body lift in April 2010. This surgery included tummy tuck, fronts of thighs, pubis mound, butt lift, with fat injections to my buttocks with my own fat harvested from my skin removed during surgery.  About one beer can full for each side.  Basically, I got my pants pulled up and my shirt pulled down. This surgery also included a revision to my breasts and sides of chest. I have also had a revision to the sides of chest area in October 2011.

My experiences with Dr. LoMonaco have been everything a patient could possibly want and much more. I have had first class customer service. Dr LoMonaco has a fantastic bedside manner, excellent skilled surgeon, with the best results. You would not believe my before and afters! I chose Dr LoMonaco because of his extensive experience with Post Bariatric Weight Loss patients. He is also the PS you saw featured on the show Big Medicine. He also co-authored a book on Post Bariatric plastic surgery. He also teaches. Don't pass him up without giving him a good look folks. You will not find a better skilled surgeon for us with lots of skin issues. As a matter of fact, not too many PS do the upper body lift. Look at his before and afters on the website. Those don't even come close to his best work. I think he puts the more "difficult cases" on the website. Yes, he takes the really difficult cases.
