2.5 years ago I decided to change my life , I was 380 pounds and told my self I had to change. So I joined a gym , ate healthy and i lost about 180pounds. Something I didn’t know is all the loose skin I would have. So for the last year I have seen 3 doctors, and have red countless stories on real self , I thought going out of the country to Mexico but have decided to have it done here in Chicago with Dr. Gutowski I am so happy. I get to pick my date soon I can’t wait to have my skin gone, i am having multiple surgeries to remove my skin here a is what I have done in my journey, look forward to share my experience.

Today I got my surgery date for 9-11 , I will be having corset body lift, pubic lift, chest lift finally will not have man boobs. 2nd surgery I arm lift & if veins are fixed will get thigh lift done too if veins are not fixed in time then will have to do 3rd surgery, I am super excited to have my skin gone!

I really appreciate when guys want to share their experience. You look so young after your weight loss. I truly admore your grit to stay on course. I am glad you are getting your body lift done here rather than Mexico . The doctors may be excellent but you have more peace of mind if you do it here and your doctor is here to help.. I read about plastic surgery insurance that another woman who had body lift in San Antonio recommended. She had some problems that her insurance refused to pay. Since you have some time before your surgery , do your research on that too. May god bless you .

So got my post op date August 31st that’s when I pay for my fist surgeries, I am still trying to fix my Varicose vein‘s in my legs to get ready for my leg lift, so I have 12 weeks and 6 days before my life will change forever!

congrats! you are a lucky person I was over 430 pounds in 2001 due to prednisone and several injections from dr for backpain and injuries now I had lost only 100 on my own due to blood clots and sevral other issues now since 2014 I had gastric bypass which helped me lose what I couldn't on my own now here I am still fighting knee pain and nerve issues and dr says skin removal would help take some of the pain away but no one will help cause its a tremendous amount of money
I don't understand people donate money for a single mother to buy a dog on gofund me but I cant get 1 donation to help me get skin trimmed off

Thanks, yes I know I had almost 500 people shared my go fund me and raised almost $1600 it’s better than nothing, total [RS bleep] that insurance won’t pay for anything either good luck to you !

I am wondering, I too have a tremendous amount of loose skin that I would like to loose. I have lost 200 pounds and I have varicose veins as well. How are ou supposed to “fix” that?

I went to a a vein surgeon and my insurance is covering the surgery, but it seems it takes for every to get my insurance to cover it.
