Honestly a life changing result and overall experience. Amir and the team went above and beyond to ensure that I had the best treatment and I felt like they all went through my journey with me.. they were invested in me and showed genuine care and compassion.
I’d like to explain on a deeper level what Amir has done for me..
I was diagnosed with body dysmorphia, I struggled with my weight before and after children and had some periods in my life where I was overweight and some where I wasn’t. However, the one thing that was consistent since I was 15 years old was the disgust I felt towards my body due to having loose skin from such a young age. I was told I have less elasticity then the average person..
at the age of 42, I’ve managed to keep my weight consistent for 6-7 years and I came to visit amir and explained my skin issues..
Amir gave me a Circumferential Body Lift with Fleur de Lis.. he knew that I was going to go through this operation alone with little/no support and was so supportive and did an amazing job on my operation..
Fast forward 3 months, and I’m a completely new person. I cannot explain to you what it is like for me to wake up in the morning and get out of bed and not having the first thought of the day being about my body, what I’m going to wear to hide it.. and what a failure I feel as a person..
It’s taken me 3 months post op to realise that I haven’t even thought about my body.. because now I’m normal, I have nothing to be ashamed of, I look great.
I’ve had my first ever massage and got undressed without dying Inside , I’ve stood in my underwear in front of people without feeling sick with fear and shame, I walked into a packed restaurant and didn’t feel like people might be looking at me..
I get up in the morning and dress in whatever I feel like. This may seem normal to you but to me, it’s all a first.. and more importantly I’ve discovered I don’t have body dysmorphia, I just don’t have the loose skin anymore ( FYI - Amir removed 11lb of loose skin)
The morning after my operation, Amir and his team came to check on me and offered to help me stand in front of the mirror to see my results.. I didn’t want to see, because my mindset was the same as it had always been.. Amir encouraged me to feel my stomach with my hands so that I could feel that the skin was gone, he was patient and understanding and those little things go a long way.. it took me weeks to be able to look at myself due to fear that I’d still hate myself.. but now.. I look at myself every chance I get and I can’t believe this is me..
No amount of money could ever buy this feeling of freedom and I will genuinely forever be great to Amir and Bellavou for giving me all the above..
I will miss visiting the team for my check ups as they feel like family now.. I’m so glad I chose Amir.
