Countdown begins~one week from today!

I am feeling fantastic and healing well. I am soy getting my strength back and haven’t needed to take pain medication for the past week and a half. My last drain was taken out last week and I’m getting my strength back, but am taking it easy. I didn’t realize how much pain I was in carrying around all that extra skin. I had hip pain before and now it’s gone! If you have lost a lot of weight, have loose skin and are on the fence about this surgery- I want to encourage you to DO IT and go see Dr. Hubbard- he’s by far the best!!! I am still pretty swollen... I’m ok with that... I know I’m only going to keep shrinking ????.

I’m feeling stronger today. I want to encourage anyone who has lost lots of weight and has extra skin to do this. I used to have pain on my left hip and it’s gone!! It must have been all that extra skin I was carrying around my hips.
Suggestions: rest, A lanyard helps when I take a shower to hold my drains...that worked best!!! Protein, vitamin C, arnica-the pellets by Boiron has helped. Swelling is still a problem for me, but I understand the process and am thrilled with my results! Your dominant hand will heal slower... I’m left handed and that side is healing slower.
Plus, most of all, I had the most incredible doctor and staff... Dr. Bradley Hubbard has changed my life. His assistant Kate, Kalie, Rehanna & Lisa... sure I didn’t spell all those right- ha...... are so compassionate, caring and helpful!!!!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my body. I need some more work done... he’s the man!!!
