WORTH IT
After months of research, I chose Dr. Bucio at Vida Wellness for my lower body lift, drawn to his renowned BBLs, breast augmentations, and signature “Bucio belly button.” My biggest fear was an unnatural tummy tuck scar—his confident expertise and flawless results convinced me he was the one. A surgeon without experience, a strong team, and that bold ego isn’t worth your trust.
Diana and Lily were incredible, guiding me through everything. When I suddenly moved my surgery from January to November, they swiftly handled labs, medication changes, and all my anxious questions.
Pre-op testing was smooth—friendly, professional staff who clearly love their jobs. As a fair-skinned woman with rusty high school Spanish, I felt genuinely welcomed (and 80% of staff spoke solid English anyway).
Surgery day was flawless: painless IV, sweet nurses, skilled anesthesiologist Dr. Peña who kept me comfortable and complication-free. Special shout-out to Alejandro (Dr. Bucio’s assistant)—kind, patient, and still replying to my healing photos within hours, even weeks post-op.
Recovery stays at Baja Premium Care and Better Every Day (arranged by Diana) were perfect, with reliable drivers, including Roberto, who kindly took us all the way to our car in La Mesa.
Surgery: Nov 12. Today: Nov 24—scars, sutures, and sterile strips healing beautifully thanks to Vida’s detailed aftercare. My Bucio belly button already looks gorgeous. Recovery has been surprisingly fast and low-pain.
10/10 experience (11/10 if possible). I’m already planning my next procedures with Dr. Bucio and the Vida team. Highly recommend!
