Body Jet lipo and J Plasma to my lower and upper abdomen

Sooo after a year of research I decided to go the safest route. I will be getting Bodyjet lipo, no general anesthesia. I will be getting married next October and I really wanted to get something done that will improve my self confidence.

I used to weigh 200 pounds in high school, I am now 155 most days, but I still don't feel very confident. I am 5'8" and always have been what people describe as a bigger girl, so for my wedding I wanted to feel the best I have ever felt. Originally I was going to go to Colombia with Doctor Franco but they really take forever to answer and I never got the email to put in my deposit so I took that as a sign. So now the 21st of November I will be having body jet lipo and j plasma to my lower and upper abdomen, I am really hoping it will be worth it.

This will be a long review and I will continue to update as I go, for now I won't say which doctor I picked, I will update that once I have my surgery.

My surgery is in less than 2 weeks! I had my pre-op appointment today. Everything went great I have to say I really am happy so far with the Doctor I picked, he is super nice takes his time explaining everything and made me feel very comfortable. Every staff member at the practice is super nice as well. I am a little bit nervous about having the procedure while I am awake but I guess is definitely better than having all the bad prospective side effects of the general anesthesia. I do an update on the day after my surgery since I will probably be to sleepy the day off, here are some before pictures.

I had my surgery last Thursday, I have to say I definitely thought the recovery was going to be a little bit easier and less painful. I was able to take a week off work which I definitely think was the best thing I could’ve done. The procedure itself I barely remember anything the pain pills they gave me really knocked me out, I do remember a little bit of pain during the procedure but it wasn’t anything that I couldn’t handle and like I said the pills definitely did their job. My swelling has been insane which my doctor warned me about, I will be attaching some pictures of the days right after the surgery and once I started wearing my compression garment . The compression garment is the worst part it hurts and it’s super uncomfortable I felt like I’ve barely slept with it on. I will keep posting as I go , I am supposed to have my first massage Saturday, and I can’t wait cause the swelling is super uncomfortable.

It’s ok , it’s definitely a very long recovery , I was not expecting it to be this long. I’m going to give it a year to see if it’s worth it but In my opinion it’s overpriced
