Don't Leave Florida For a Hair Transplant.
WORTH IT$7,400
On June 6th, I had an FUT procedure with Dr. Glenn Charles. The surgery was relatively painless. Some people complain about the shots for the local anesthetic, but I didn't think these were a big deal. The only part of the surgery I struggled with was some pain in my donor area during the last hour of the surgery and the first night after the procedure. This was nothing some extra strength Tylenol couldn't resolve. I only used my pain medication on the first two nights because laying on the donor area while sleeping is a bit tender.
Overall, the recovery has been a breeze. Two weeks after the procedure, I was in the gym performing heavy, Olympic lifts. I have already had a haircut and the donor area is not visible. In fact, when I run a comb through my hair it's difficult for friends and family to find the donor area. I had my sutures removed by a plastic surgeon (She's does my botox) in Jacksonville and she commented that Dr. Charles did a fantastic job.
The grafts look neat and clean. I look forward to seeing my progress by November or December. My only regret to this point is that I didn't get more aggressive with the hairline, but Dr. Charles advised to save my grafts in case I need them for the future. I appreciate a hair transplant surgeon who doesn't push more grafts on clients to make extra money.
I truly appreciate Dr. Charles and his staff. They were wonderful during the operation. However, I was most impressed before the operation as they were extremely patient and generous with their time addressing all of my questions and concerns.
If you live in Florida, I would definitely recommend you visit Dr. Charles with any concerns about hair loss as he will provide you with honest feedback and is more than capable in his craft.
I look forward to updating my review in a few months.

Also, I wanted a mature hairline to match my age. If we need to do a second procedure to increase density I might lower the hairline further, but not by much. I never had a low hairline and this reverses my recession by about 15 years.
Looking back through pictures this hairline will be an improvement even over the hairline I had when I was 20. I've always had a very high hairline and a pretty big forehead. If we need to do a second procedure for more density in the future I would consider lowering it a little more, but not too much. The way these things look in
