I had my TT on Monday July 31st in a hospital with a required overnight per my doctor. On Tuesday I wondered what I got myself into as I felt terrible as I had the sweats and was throwing up due to the morphine. My doctor said it's because I'm a small person 4'11 1/2", 106 lbs. I chose to stay a second night in the hospital and felt like a different person the next day. I saw the doctor today (Friday) and he said I'm healing ahead of schedule and am standing straighter than expected. On Monday he will take out 1 drain and I have a 90% chance he'll take out the other drain. My only pain in my back when I sleep. I had a problem figuring how to get out of bed (getting is no problem as I use a step stool), but I finally figured out sit up first and then put feet off bed. My office is in my home so I'm able to work and use the computer without any problems, but get up periodically to move around since the doctor said the best thing I can do for my self is walk. My appetite hasn't completely come back yet, which I don't feel is a bad thing since I'm not exercising. By the way, I put on shorts today and my stomach is flat even with a little swelling.

OMG your amazing!!! You are doing fantastic so keep up the good work. Try to go slow and not rush things too quickly.
The tubes out make you feel like a new woman and give you much freedom. I would agree that getting in and out of bed is tough! You quickly learn what you need to do to accomplish this.
Hang in there and please keep us up to date on how you are healing. We would love to see some before and after pictures.
