Got worse with time

I am now 2 years on, my left eye is still swollen and my right eye has started to drop. My scar is very prominent on the left side of my face. My neck is a disaster, all lumpy. I finally decided to go back to see him after two years, his manner was appalling, he sat there looking at me and said nothing, I said to him, what do you think, he replied yes it's settled down well, I asked him about my eyes, he replied we will just do some fat transfer, and some later on your face, there is nothing wrong with your neck!!!! His new assistant pulled my before and after pictures, she was shocked to see I had no bags under my eyes before. She to,d me there would be a charge to do the work again. I left.

Left eye underneath still swollen, people comment all the time, neck still proportionate, and often swells up and uncomfortable, went to see a new doctor about the bottom of my eyes, he was more alarmed about the scar on the side of my face, which incidentally has improved greatly, wanted to charge me $7000.00 to redo my bottom eye bags, on top of the $15,000 I already paid I decided not to bother, he told me to go back to my original PS but I don't have the confidence, so I am just living with it.

I'm sorry You are going through this. I am in the same situation. I have scarring from skin necrosis on my right side. I have a scar under my left eye from the fat transfer, my brow lift didn't take and have droopy eye lids again. My neck is also very lumpy and suture lines pulled resulting in my neck starting to sag. Still dealing with my PS but all I hear is that I expected too much and things are looser from natural aging! It's only been 8 months not years!
Not sure how to proceed. You sign your life away and have little recourse for compensation for complications or bad results. I would think a good PS would do everything they could to give reasonable follow up for what you paid for. I think they hope you will just give up trying to get them to make it right.

Have you considered going to Costa Rica? Check out the plastic surgeons there and others on this website who have used them and returned to use them again. I am one of those people who has scheduled another surgical procedure.

You should definitely go back to the surgeon who did this. You have nothing to lose. Your not at fault here. What's the worst that could happen? If he is a respected surgeon I think he will want to fix it. This is your chance to stand up for yourself.

You might want to just get some other opinions and there is a good dr in ft lauderdale if you are interested

My neck is now disproportionate does anyone know what can be done, I am 7 months past original surgery

Can u post a question a see what other doctors suggests (professional opinion)?? Go at the top and click on Q&A and post a few pictures . I'm sure they can give you an idea of what else can be done to fix it

Did your PS suggest he was happy with your results? Do you have a family member or friend who could support you at a meeting with Dr. Ress?

I had a different surgeon but the same problem. It is a serious bummer. I am very unhappy with my outcome as well.
