I had Infini RF done on 5/7/16. I have had micro needling and peels, der abrasion, but nothing helped with my PIH and PIE.
I purchased this to kickstart my healing or hopefully to make the appearance of my 'marks' not as bad.
My skin is barely one week out and I do tend to heal slower than most but my face is still red in some areas ( the pics aren't the greatest) and I have a weird texture to my skin.
I have used moisturizer as well as sunscreen religiously and have only washed with cetaphil .
How do I fix this?
Is there hope?
I'm regretting doing this- after I micro needled I was red and such for a week after but it didn't seem this bad.

Scars from Infini

So in the newly posted pictures, I am over a month post procedure.
I followed directions to the letter, do not go in the sun and religiously wear sunscreen. You can see the marks from the device.
How can I fix this?/I'm reticent to go to the aesthetician that did this originally since infini has few side effects, yet somehow she gave me some.

Please advise ( Dr. Weiner in Panama, especially, please).

This is the side effects of a poorly performed procedure. The insulation should protect the surface of the skin. If the device isn't perpendicular tithe skin, too shallow, or withdrawn too soon, the needle tips can affect the surface and give these problems. Retin A and growth factors skin care regime is needed. I too wouldn't recommend to get Infini by same person again. Treatment with laser resurfacing or Infini might be needed in future. PIH and PIE are not treated with Infini and shouldn't have been a reason to get the procedure. PIH is treated with topicals, peels, or lasers, and PIE is treated with VBeam or Excel V.

it was your office that she went to ....and you said "I too wouldn't recommend to get Infini by the same person again."

Dr. Weiner DID NOT perform this procedure- I asked for his opinion based on his expertise.

This appears to be an incorrectly performed procedure. The infini needles are insulated so that the heat does not damage the epidermis. If the needles are improperly placed you can damage the epidermis. You are likely going to need good topical treatment with retin-a and sunscreen. Then at some point in the future I think you would benefit from a combined Excel V / Genesis V treatment to improve the redness (PIE) and help to regenerate collagen. Regards, Dr. Matt Elias

Hello, how is your face looking now? Any improvements?

I had this happen about three years ago, from Dr. Weiner's wife Sandy. I had acne scarring and they both assured me this would help, and there was no downtime. His wife actually told me that I could go to yoga afterward, as she did. I noticed something wasn't right about three days after the procedure. I had grid marks all over my face, mainly on my upper cheeks. I called him every day after the procedure expressing my worry, and I was told it was all normal, and honestly his staff and Sandy made me feel like a complete idiot for bothering them. I even went to see him Christmas eve as an emergency visit and he said even if the grid marks were permanent he could fix them with Fraxel. I ended up going to a dermatologist in North Carolina, who helped me immensely. Dr. Weiner never offered to refund my money, and to this day still hasn't. After that Christmas eve visit he never even called to see how I was. It was emotionally traumatizing, at the very least. My skin is almost back to normal, but it has taken years. In certain lighting, I can still see the grid marks. I think Sandy set the energy too high when she did my procedure, but I'm sure she or he would never admit that. I hope you're healing.

Can I ask, what treatments did you use to reduce the grid marks?
