I had the typical male receding hairline so i had 2,000 grafts to fill in the corners and my goal was to have a natural feminine hairline.
The best part by far was the team and the doctor. I never once was given any reason to feel uneasy beyond my own anxiety. I dreaded the anesthia injections and they were painful, but the doctor spaced it out and once it was finished it was an easy 4 hours. A few times you might become aware of a slight pricking sensation so just mention it and they give a little more anesthesia to the spot, pain free. When i say aware of a slight pricking thats all you will feel, nothing excruciating like I was nervous about!
So far the recovery is going without complication, i am 24 hours out. The 1st night seems the worst because the pain meds dont quite take the edge off the pain and it is very difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. However the next day standard extra strength Tylenol has been plenty to keep the pain away.
So far i am very excited to see the results but that will be months away. If you are nervous about the procedure you can relax, even being awake the entire time the nurses kept a nice conversation going that kept me completely at ease
I am also trans and not once did the doctor or nurses or front staff bat an eye or fail to give me the respect any patient should expect from their doctor.
I cant say the worth of it yet until the hair comes in but the procedure and doctors team was perfect as far as I can tell

The consult with Dr. Charles is what convinced me to go with him after researching hair professionals. His bedside manner put me completely at ease and he was very supportive and helpful. His team is well trained and all together make a great package of professionalism and warmth
