After my second c-section I was left with this...

After my second c-section I was left with this 'ledge' or 'hang'- and it depressed me. Even at my heaviest, I have never had a hanging stomach. I gained quite a bit of weight with my two pregnancies and I was able to lose a lot quickly but my stomach had this hanging thing.
I was convinced that I wanted to get a tummy tuck, but after doing research I started looking at coolsculpting. I just didn't have the time off from work to get a tummy tuck. Plus I was told that I would not be able to pick up my two kids.
I will admit- if I wasn't working and I had someone to help me with the kids fulltime I would have opted for a tummy tuck.

On March 27 I had my CS procedure done. I did 4 areas, to upper and 2 lower abs. My dermatologist had the new applicators in and told me that the new applicators were not as painful. She was right, I had almost no pain, I even stopped her to ask if that was normal because I after all the reading I had done I was expecting a lot of pain and pulling. The new applicators only require 35 mins. I did not have the 'stick of butter' effect and again, I voiced my concern and I was told it was ok.

After the procedure, I was beyond swollen. In fact- I was swollen for about 3 weeks. To the point where I was Googling my side effects. FYI- never start Googling 'swollen abdomen' at 1 am. The Internet will have you convinced that you have a terminal illness that will only be cured by drinking warm organic lemon water and covering your feet with raw onions.

After about 1 month, I finally started to see results. 3 months later, I see results but I decided to have a second round done.

If you are thinking of doing this procedure, make sure you take pics every week. It's easy to get discouraged, the pics will help you see tiny changes.

If you are going to get more than one round done in the same area, you might want to consider lipo/surgery. It will end up costing you about the same amount. For me- the big draw to CS was not having any downtime. If you have kids- you know you can't be bedridden for weeks.

The results aren't drastic, but I knew that I wasn't going to get major results. But to me- anything is better than this 'hang'.
