This has been the most disastrous and expensive body peel I have ever experienced!!! I usually o not rite reviews but felt I needed to since I learned about this peel from a post on this forum and I wanted to warn others. I followed directions exactly and applied peel only 3 min on each area of my body. I used a cotton pad an applied an even thin layer. Despite all this care an attention to he instructions, my body starts to burn and frost badly in random areas - my upper back, patches in my lower back, spots on my legs and a mall area on my forearm. They resulted in chemical burns in these areas and continued to hyperpigment severely over the next week. I purchased this peel to lighten and brighten areas that small amount of acne marks mid ended up with my skin severely scarred and discolored. Th company's policy is horrible and will not offer any refunds or take any responsibility for any problems that arise com the use of their products. I am 46 years old and have used numerous peels on my face and body including TCA peels for 26 years, this is the first time this has happened. I am still peeling in areas 12 days later an the skin has no showed no improvement even in the areas that did not burn but took two weeks to peel.

Who does TCA peels at home???!!!

This is sold as an "at home" peel. It is not meant to be the strength of an "in office" peel. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't formulated correctly to o what it was advertised to do.

Did you exfoliate after the peel?

No, I didn't at all.

I got a CP on my face. The doctor used extra strength around my mouth b/c i'm darker there. I'm Afro/ Amer too. THe doctor over did it and now I'm too light around the mouth. I have lost confidence in him even though i'm still healing. Praying that my end results will come out fine. He also gave me some cream to lighten the rest of my face to even it out. I do not regret getting this done b/c I was too dark around the mouth like a beard. Just hope I got the right doctor

What company did you order from??

I remember seeing this peel online. Glad I never purchased it. I burned myself on my back once from benzoyl peroxide. I had two spots of hyperpigmentation after that left me traumatized. It may seem hopeless now but in a year these marks will lighten significantly. It's taken two years for my skin to completely recover and have no mark left...but just don't assume it will be there forever. I didn't even continuously care for my burn marks either. Apply rosehip oil everyday, twice a day. Use thick moisturizers and sunblock. Exfoliate once per week with a lactic acid peel. Repeat and it will slowly get better. Use kojic acid soap once in awhile. If you're desperate, use a prescription strength lightner and retin a. Goodluck

I just wanted to add an apology for the misspellings in my review above, for some reason the auto correct on my phone when uploading my review changed many of the words. Also, I wanted to be clear as shown in the pics of the peel bottles, I only used 1/4 of one 4 oz bottle for my entire body. This demonstrates that I did not use an excessive amount and did not cause the chemical burns. The fault was from the products alone.
