You just keep looking better and better! Amazing! I'm having mine removed Friday at 3pm. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! Just curious.. do you have stretch marks on your breasts? Sorry for the nosey question.. I'm asking because I do have them and I'm just trying to figure out if there's any hope for my breasts to recover like yours have done so beautifully. Mine are the thin skin colored ones. I couldn't see any in your pics. :)

Thank you back2. No I do not have any. I'm guessing if you have them now (post explant), that you will continue to have them. Did you have them pre implant? I'm sure there are ways to lessen them. I'm so excited foe you. You are going to feel & look so much better!!!!

BTW I went under local myself, without pocket removal. My BEST advise, is wear the sports bra for at least a month. It will not only help with the skin retracting, but it will help keep you from fluid build up on your pockets. Also try to take it easy. Make sure the bra is pretty snug too.

I did have them prior to implants. I know they won't disappear or get better. They don't really bother me as they are barely noticeable, but I've read that having them means that my skin elasticity isn't of the greatest quality so I may not be as lucky with skin retraction. We shall see! :) I plan on compressing those babies for a LONG time lol!! Thank you so much for your advice and sharing your story! I'll keep everyone updated on mine!

You look amazing! It is incredible how good you feel physically to have them removed. I noticed that I was able to take very deep breathes and my lungs/chest don't hurt anymore. Each day to feel stronger and healthier is such a blessing. I have been struggling to recover from 5 surgeries the past two years and this is finally the first time I am feeling better each day! So amazing and I hope all the ladies have similar results.

Wow you look AWESOME! They are only going to get better!! I love how soft & mushy they are now myself. I'm always amazed at how they feel when I take a shower. What a difference, from those heavy bags I was carrying around. Wait until you see how you look in clothing & you will feel much better mentally too. Congrats & keep us posted! Xo

Oh my goodness I agree so much. I love how soft and mushy they feel. It was one of the first things I said as we were driving home from the hospital. I have not ventured into normal clothes yet, I have said very comfy the first 8 days. You all look beautiful, we all do :-) :-)

Thanks for all the info. I had saline implants in 2000 (600 cc), removed, replaced and a lift in 2010. I wake up every day in pain from a capsular contraction. I live in Parkland and have been looking for a plastic surgeon to get these things removed!! Sounds like you were happy with Dr. Pozner and I've heard good things about him!! You look so much better without those implants!

Hello! First let me say from my own experience & from watching other ladies stories, you are going to come about PERFECT! After looking at your pictures I can pretty much say, you will look like you never had them after your explant. You got a small enough size, for it to not make much of a difference in your skin. Congrats on your decision to explant! It's the BEST think I ever did!!!!! So happy with the REAL me!

You look great! Perfect! Did you have to wear an ace wrap or anything like that? Were the capsules very thin? Mine are also 350cc submuscular. Thanks!
O
December 10, 2013
I wore an ace bandage for the first 24 hrs, then went next day for check up & removed wrap. Doc said nothing about my capsules, except that they WILL dissolve into my body.

I had mine removed (saline) last Thursday- no lift. Was given a local so didn't know what was going on. Have been wearing a halter ever since which holds me in and she wants me to wear it 3-4 weeks. Wish mine looked as good as yours and they certainly aren't as large! Never were which is why I got the implants. I was a C and now will probably be a B. She told me it would take up to 3 months for them to regain their shape. I am so depressed but after reading this have hope. Right now they look more like pancakes!!!

You certainly look better without the implants! How do you feel the muscle after explantation? I want to explant my submuscular implants, and I'm worried about distortion (although my doctor told me that I won't have any problem with it). Thank you so much
O
December 10, 2013
Hello 325, You should nt have any distortion, unless you already have some. Since you don't have any pics. I'll assume since your dr said you will not have any, I'm guessing you won't have any either. Your muscles won't even feel like anything was done, because he doesn't touch your muscle at all. You have an opening under your muscle that he will work through.
O
December 10, 2013
This opening is from your previous surgery. Your first surgery they need to cut the muscle off the rib cage & place under, in an area that's not use to having something under it. You will be doing the opposite this time around. You will feel so much better. This is a simple procedure & can be done under local. You will not have any muscle discomfort.

Thank you for answering (and sorry for my bad english). As you say, I don't have any muscle distortion or disconfort now, and my implants slightly move when I flex (I'm only 6 weeks post-op), I think both things are favorable to me. I really know I'll feel better without the implants, I didn't feel like myself at all since I notice that they are inside of me. They're absolutely changing some aspects of my life in such a negative way- so I'm pretty sure with my decision. I've been very worried about how my muscle will look at after explantation, but your words really helped me to feel more calmed down. Thank you very much :)

It was fine! I went under local, so I was awake the entire time (30 minutes).

The surgery room had music playing. I was carrying a conversation with the doc & the nurses.

WOW you look amazing.. I can not wait to see how I will look. Im so scared because they keep telling me I will need a lift but Im not going to get one... I hope I look as good as you.

December 13, 2013
I think your going to do fine! Just give your new/old breasts time to heal & tighten up. No matter how they come out, stick to waiting at least a year before making another decision. I don't think you will need another surgery for a lift.
