After doing five years of research into hair...

After doing five years of research into hair transplantation and having multiple consultations, I decided on Shapiro Medical Group and Dr. David Josephitis due to the clinics stellar expertise and reputation as a forerunner in the field. 1.5 months after the surgery and I have no complaints whatsoever. I am a solid Norwood 5 so had a 2300 graft FUE procedure done to reconstruct my bridge area forward into the hairline. This was probably my first of 2 procedures. Will post before and after pictures when the 1 year time frame concludes and results are at their maximum.

The first impression I had of Shapiro Medical Group and Dr. David Josephitis was one of rock solid confidence and assurance in his abilities. I went in for a consultation and actually got to sit down with Dr. Joe himself (not a "counselor" like some other practices) and received a thorough, honest assessment of my situation. Dr. Josephitis is one of the best FUE physicians in the world, and it shows in every step of the patient process. He took the time to ask and listen to what my motivations and expectations for surgery were - and was straightforward with what he could do to best match those. There was absolutely no passive coercion or followup attempts to get me in for surgery. I got the obvious sense that at this point in time in SMG's practice, their skills and accolades sell and speak for themselves. Dr. Ron Shapiro even came in on my surgery pre-op to introduce himself and assess my situation a bit. Since this was my first procedure, I wanted to feel like I was in good hands and have no worries about the quality of the transplant itself. Thus far - 1.5 months on- everything has healed up nicely and looks looks/feels great. The rest of the staff was highly skilled, professional and accommodating. Too be honest, I don't have a single negative thing to say about my transplant.
