I am currently a 32A, scheduled in a couple months to have 375cc high profile silicone implants taking me up to a 32C. I am so incredibly excited, yet more nervous about the recovery and pain. I've never had surgery. I don't have any before pics to upload for right now, but will later! Does anyone have any advice?

did you get textured or smooth??? and what brand? i got mentor smooth cohesive gel

I got Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round High Profile, and I wish I didn't need to massage yet. It's so painful bc it's where my bruises are. But he told me that I'd heal quicker this way...Like I have learned, every surgeon has their different ways of post op healing. It's so interesting to see all of our differences!!

oh ok yea we got the same type of implant. i got the smooth round too. but yes every ps is diff so well see what happens.

Your breasts came out really nice. I am currently a C and was going to select 400cc round medium profile. Hope that's not too big. Where did you get those pretty bras, the blue flowery one and peach one?

June 12, 2017
Thank you very much! I bought them both from VS, the peach one is a padded bralette demi :) when do you plan to have surgery?

I've been undecided on my chosen size. So I went and bought the items for rice sizers! I originally chose 375cc HP. First rice sizers I tried was 325. Definitely too small. Second one (pictured) was 375cc. Definitely like it. The boyfriend wanted to see what 450cc would look like. Made those up and I said nope! He liked, but sorry for ya. My body my choice lol. I then tried 400cc. I'm slightly torn still. Hoping my second sizing appt will clear it up for me!
I'm also torn with over/under the muscle. What are the benefits/risks of both? I've seen a lot of reviews over the muscle, they bottomed out. I do not want to deal with that!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
The sizer photos, I like the side view of the 400 better than the 375. But I like the front view of 375 instead of the 400. Ahhh! The struggles us women have with decisions!!! ;)
May post some before and after without bra, but as most of us are I'm quite self conscious about posting nude pics of myself online lol.

I think I wrote that in our thread already somewhere, that when I had my sizing they told me that they will go 25CC bigger than what I choose. So when I chose 375CC they said they will go with the 400CC because ones they are placed, the 400CC will give me the look of the 375CC sizers. Now I don't know if it is because mine go under the muscle. Or if it depends on what brand/type implant you get?! Maybe it's different if they go over the muscle and it will look the same as the sizer since there is no muscle squeezing them in place? Maybe something to ask your PS and make sure.
Personally, I like the 400CC on you. The 375CC look great too, but if you want to make a statement --- definitely go with the 400CC. I don't think I would go any bigger though. 400CC looks awesome with your frame!!!
Sorry I don't know much about the difference between under - over the muscle. I just always wanted them under the muscle cause its supposed to be a more natural feel and I figure it won't hurt to have a muscle help holding them in place for the next 20-30 years :-D I don't know if it could be an issue, but I know I would be mad if the implants started sagging in a few years. But again, I really have no clue how that works lol. I hope I helped a little bit! ;-)

I've seen a lot of posts on here about double bubble and I plan to ask about the risk of that with overs. I may change to unders. They're going to be bigger and beautiful no matter where they're placed and I would rather have a natural feel! My doc stressed about the size difference. As most women, one of my breasts is bigger than the other. So he said he could put different sizes in each to make them look even, but when I would lay down you'd see the difference. I told him I definitely want same size in both if that's the case! When I went for my first sizing appt I took a friend's VS bra with me that was 32C. Big mistake. Once I put it on it fit more like a B! I bought those sports bras (pictured) but the nurse told me to get an actual bra, unpadded and true to size to bring for this appt. VS is far from true to size lol. I feel like after Mondays appt I'll feel much more confident with my decision! You have helped, thank you!!

I had to do a double bubble search to see what it is. Oh wow ... nobody wants to pay a ton of money and have it look like that after!! I think I'd be pretty disappointed!!!
One of mine is slightly bigger than the other too and I had asked him at our first consultation in Nov if that can be fixed and evened out. They did tell me that they will sit me up and make sure everything looks good before they finish up. And if it needed to be, they can put different sizes in. But I don't think they are uneven enough to put different sizes.
You know they also have the partially under the muscle. Not sure what the difference is between all the placements.
I can't wait to see what you say after your appointment on your final decision.

Oh that's right! I bet you after I research that I'll probably choose it, as long as he offers partially over/under! The nerves are slowly building up again, as of making the payment yesterday! I can't wait to get back in there and bombard him with questions!
I don't think my size difference will cause much of an issue after surgery. They're so small as it is the size difference is barely noticeable. I know I won't change my mind with the size for each, they will both be whatever I choose! I don't think he's one of those surgeons that has stock of implants. I've seen a lot of women changed their mind on size the morning of surgery. When I spoke to the nurse yesterday she said that after my upcoming appt they will order my implants. So no last minute changes for size for me! I'm glad about that, as I have troubles with making up my mind! I will absolutely keep you updated with my choices! I'll be making sure I take pics while sizing as well! Bring on this appt, I'm ready!!!
P.S. I do have a massage scheduled before my sizing, so hopefully I'll be fully relaxed and clear minded for the appt hahaha :)

Are you getting any closer to your final size decision? When is your next appointment? I see a lot more under the muscle placement. Do you get to make that choice? Feel free to respond in a "review update!" ;)

Hi Beth, no...Well yes and no. I do know what I need to ask and explain my concerns to the surgeon. I'm 99% sure I'll go with 400CC, but I need to have my second sizing appt done. My appt is Monday and everything will be finalized. I actually just posted a doctor question so I'm hoping I get some responses through the weekend or on Monday before my appt! I completely have control over that decision, actually most of the surgery is my decision lol! I'm certain on incision point, which is armpit.
What I've read online from a few doctors is that if you're small and have minimal breast tissue, like me, that under the muscle is best. I'm still very unsure of placement!!

Yes, I have heard under the muscle works well for small women. Glad you're feeling fairly certain about your implant size. That is often the most difficult decision to make. Can't wait to hear how your appointment goes on Monday!

I would personally go 400 cc's. If your unsure and theres such a small difference in cc's go bigger. I got 390 partial under muscle and to me they dont look as big with a shirt on as the sizers I tried on at my PS office. Im actually thinking of going bigger in a couple years. Maybe a couple hundred more cc's. I also started out as a 32 A/AA. I am about 2 months post op and currently wearing D/DD bras.

February 23, 2017
I will go look at your reviews! D is too big for me in my opinion, but, at the same time I'll be happier with anything bigger than what I have now!!
You said partial under, does that mean they're under the muscle at top and under tissue/over muscle at the bottom? My PS didn't offer that so I'm not sure it's something he does or likes to do. Or it could be unavailable since he's going through the armpit for me...Thank you for responding!! :)

From what I understand you have it right on what partial is. I had my surgery do e o the inframmary fold. My crease had to be lowered also. I dont think that I look like a D! I feel like girls with natural D breasts look much bigger. I am 5'1 about 120 pounds and they dont look too big at all. Especially with a looser fitted shirt.

February 23, 2017
Sorry that one sentence is suppose to say.. I had my surgery done on the inframmary fold.

February 23, 2017
I didnt think they look too big. When I tried on the sizers they were definitely bigger then what I ended up with. I think the 25 cc difference works out to less then 2 tablespoons, if you wanted to visualize the difference that way..lol.. but in the end go with what you feel you would be most comfortable with. If you are a bit smaller then you were hoping for you can use push up bras or some padded bras but if your too big you cant decrease size. Another good way to find out how big you should go is to find some pictures of what you want to look like and take those to your appointment. That might give your PS a better understanding of what your looking for.

February 23, 2017
See that's why I think I may go with the 400 myself. I'm definitely going to gather some pics of what I'm looking for and give them to him. I'd honestly rather go bigger than I'd like than smaller. I've been small my whole life!! Lol

February 23, 2017
I hear ya! I would rather be bigger too! Hopefully you get everything figured out at your next appt.
