WORTH IT$11,500
I am a 49 year old mom who has been wanting a tummy tuck for about 4-5 years. I lost weight and worked really hard to tone up my body but could not get the toned abdominal look I desired because of loose skin. It's not a ton of skin but it's enough to look wrinkly - like a balloon that's been deflated a few times! I also have a c-section scar so the skin and fat kind of pooches over it. I had several consultations done 4 years ago and was a good candidate for a full tummy tuck. At that time I decided not to have the procedure done. I really didn't have the money and I was worried about what kind of message I was sending my teenage daughter who was struggling with her own body image. I was OK with my decision not to have surgery. I really like my body - it serves me well! Fast forward to 2017 and now I have the financial means to pursue this surgery (thanks to an incredibly supportive boyfriend!!) and my daughter is happy and in a good place with regards to how she feels about her own body. So... I went back to the plastic surgeons I saw originally (plus another one just to cover all my bases) and decided to have the tummy tuck AND a breast lift. No implants. My breasts are stretched out but there's still enough tissue there to make a nice C cup! Perfect for me and my active lifestyle. I decided to have Dr. Lofman do my surgery. I really like him and his office staff and his pictures look amazing. One thing that is important to me is that I'd like my tummy tuck scar as low as possible. Dr. Lofman is pretty confident he can get it right at the level of my c-section scar which is pretty low. I trust him to do the best he can to insure a beautiful outcome. As far as the breast lift - I can't wait to have perkier boobs again!
I feel ready to have the surgery with occasional periods of pure panic. It's only 4 days away! Not looking forward to not being able to exercise for a while but I'll survive. The end result will be worth it!

Yay! Can't wait to see how things look afterwards! Did it feel like time went by fast for you? Mine isn't until May 22, and the waiting is getting torturous.

It went by very fast - especially this last week. I scheduled my surgery at the end of February so I only had to wait about 7 weeks.

Now I'm obsessively cleaning my house! Usually I could care less about how clean my house is lol! But right now I feel like everything has to be just right. And I'm reading real self reviews non stop

That's nice it went by fast! I made my appoint about 8 weeks from my surgery date. I cannot wait. Cracked me up your cleaning your house obsessively! What about meals? I've been thinking about those. Did you do any freezer meals or anything?

I prepared a few freezer meals but mostly relying on my boyfriend and mom to take care of meals for the first week or so. My 15 year old son is looking forward to a lot of takeout!
