I am 5-9, 132 pounds, 46 years old. Wear a 36A/B. I breast fed both of my kids and am a huge work out enthusiast. The chest I had in my younger years has significantly diminshed and I have been thinking about doing BA for almost 7 years. It never seemed like the "right" time. Well, tomorrow , 11/2/16 is the right time. I considered doing 275CC and ended up going with 325CC silicone implants . I am having it under the muscle as my skin is thin and a little sag so surgeon suggested under the muscle. I had three consultations and decided that the larger size would be better to achieve a natural look without going too big and still being able to do all of my exercise classes that I enjoy (cross fit, barren, spinning). I am trying to achieve a full C cup, and the Doctor assured me that 325CC would give me the results I'm looking for.

I have not told anyone about the surgery, except my husband. I feel like it's a personal decision and that people will judge me. There are many opinions about plastic surgery and just like when I selected the names for my daughters, I really don't want to hear their opinions.

I am hopeful that by Thanksgiving when all the family is here and in town that I will be 'back to normal'.

I can update tomorrow after surgery. Wish me luck!

Best of luck! I had BA surgery on Aug 27. 5'7" 120 lbs, was a 32 A/B and also opted for 335 cc (Allergan Natrell gummy bear teardrops, FF) to achieve a C cup. Very happy with results. Like you, only my significant other & a couple close friends/family knew of my decision. Not going too large made it possible to conceal my secret. Clothes fit much better but the real results are best viewed without clothes! Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm doing really well, thanks. I'd say that it took nearly five weeks before the discomfort was completely gone. Initially, there was the tightness from all the swelling, the muscle spasms (worst in the morning), and difficulty getting comfortable in bed. Also nipple sensitivity - that set in at about week 2-3 and continued for a couple of weeks but now, thankfully, all but gone. I'm 52, by the way - wish I hadn't waited so long but it turned out to be the right time for me, a gift to myself and partner ; ) It's also a wonderful incentive to stay fit (I practice hot yoga). I hope all goes well today for you - get the rest you need later on and enjoy your results! I'm here if you need any support.

I am 29, 2 kids, 135-140lbs and 5'6 in Windsor Ontario, right across the river from you! I had 372cc thinking I'd be a full C and was told I'd be... I am not. I was a deflated A cup to start and now I feel like I'm a full perky B at best, regardless of me measuring DD. They are NOT that big. I hope that you have better results than me. I wanted a subtle look but not this subtle.. Lol. Wishing you the best!

I think mine may also be barely a C cup or a very full B - I'm somewhat disappointed in not going slightly larger now myself. An extra 50 cc, from all the surgeons' comments, would barely have been detectable, though. It would take at least 75 cc or more to make a noticeable difference. I did NOT want to go from an A/B to a D but I wish I'd emphasized "FULL C" and not just "C." I think it's a very inexact science. The surgeons keep emphasizing it's hard to guarantee a specific cup size & that bra cups sizes vary among the manufacturers (I'm also wearing D/DD in Victoria's Secret's line). Still, mine are also much perkier & nicely shaped so I'm happy with that...still a huge improvement.

Hi,
I'm home . In bed on day two . Feel very drugged up :)
No pain yay . My doctor does not believe in any bras for three weeks so I came home natural, no bra, no nothing . They look great . Very high . I am wondering about when they "drop" . I have a tightness but no pain for now . The nurse said day three (tomorrow) will be the worst. I'm a little scared for that ....
Thank you again for all of your comments and support! It's wonderful to be able to talk about this and hear your stories :)

Congratulations! They take a little time to drop...patience required. I didn't wear a bra either. I didn't mention that I had nipple surgery to correct an inverted right nipple so I had to wear a plastic medicine cup for five days...it projected about 2 1/2"! I covered it with scarves & thankfully it went undetected in public (at least I think it did). Anyway, hope your discomfort remains manageable.

How long after your surgery did you go to get new bras ?
