I've attached photos that explain my physical situation 1 year post op so I will spare you the dramatic review. I want to stress to anybody who is looking for a gynecomastia surgeon that you can't trust photos that are taken from a six foot or more distance. You can see how deformed my chest looks, but if I was to stand at a distance and relax my chest, it would look like, at a glance, that there was nothing wrong. Be diligent in your search for a good surgeon and try to find close up photos of their work. The only photos that I can find on RealSelf that were uploaded by customers reviewing Dr. Blau have photos taken by Dr. Blau in his office. Find REAL customer photos of any doctor's work and not doctor taken photos. Its a shame that more people don't upload personal photos. Beyond the results that I received, I felt abondaned by Dr. Blau after the surgery. He never once wrote to me when I showed concern for my chest. Its been 14 months since my surgery and the only person that has ever responded to me is the front desk. Even they do all they can to limit email communication, which makes me feel like they don't want to put themselves in a position of having written record of any admittance of malpractice. I was in a situation where I was overseas trying to communicate with them by email just to understand why my nipple was pertruding downward and they would just tell me to call them when I was in the States. To say the least, it was agonizing trying to communicate with them. Dr. Blau can log into RealSelf and answer over 500 questions to potential customers, but he couldn't sit down and anwser one question from a customer that already paid. I had to reach out to other doctors to get answers.
