WORTH IT$9,100
Happy with my implant size although the left was ruptured and both had level 4 contracture. I had been thinking about having them out for a few years but this finalized my decision . I really did not want to reimplant but didn't want to be totally flat either. I eat and live very healthy so don't really like the idea of the implants anymore.
I was told I had saline under the muscle not sure the size. I went from a 34a to a 36C now. Gained about 35 lbs over the years. I was proportionate and was not looking to be voluptuous.
Chose Dr Honeycutt because of recommendations, female with all female staff.
We went over many options including fat transfer, reimplant with a synthetic skin to prevent the contracture from happening again or just explant.
I wanted the fat transfer and liked that the lipo would give me back more shape in my mid section.
Scheduled procedure, lost 5 lbs, put coconut oil, olive oil and Aegean oil on my stomach sides and back everyday as I was concerned the skin would just fall over my panties.
Procedure went well. Took longer than planned as not what was expected going in.
First Silicone not saline, which we already figured out due to the rupture that happened. Then over muscle not under. They were 250cc and she said the left was intact right not. She removed the calcium and most of the contracture left some for structure for the fat transfer
She removed 900cc of fat and was only able to put 100cc in each breast.

Why only 100ccs???

I had my one month post op today and I asked. She Stated that the fat that is used for the transfer is taken out with a hand pump so it is handled more gently than fat taken with the cannula from the lipo machine:pump. Also she said that she used as much as would fit in without leaking out. She said some was placed over the muscle and some under the muscle.

She said that when she extracted the fat that would be used to transfer she uses a hand syringe not the pump to preserve the fat. With the pump most of it is unusable. She said that she filled the breast as much as she could with out it oozing out.

One month post op

nana2two
My one month post op went well. I feel really good and very happy with my procedures.
I feel very relieved that I came out with no disfigurement and no infection especially considering some others posts.
I occasionally fell little zings of discomfort around my breasts near the arm pit. Very mild very brief. I still have some swelling and bruising around my pubic bone from the lipo. She warned me this would be the last area to heal as the compression garment can't cover that area.
The nurse said my abdomen and back look great and I agree. I can't imagine what it will look like in 3-6 months. Totally worth a few days of discomfort.
I am relieved to have he implants, calcification and capsulation gone.
The fat transfer was probably the only thing that's not great. Again she warned me it would only be about 60-70% of what is transferred. She stated that I can always have another procedure using the Brava system and lipo on my hips and thighs.
I will definetly wait the full 6 months before I decide. Not exactly thrilled to consider the Brava but may want to do the lipo on my legs anyway to balance my proportions out. Smaller bust smaller waist maybe need smaller hips too

Tried on my bras

nana2two
I tried on all my bras and there were only about 4 that didn't fit. I was really surprised because I have been wearing sport bras and I looked almost flat. With my regular bras I look almost the same. The only difference was I had the on the tightest hook and used to have on the loosest.
I am 5 weeks out and plan to do measurements next week
