I breastfed both of my kids until they self weaned at 10 months and 14 months, and I had enough breastmilk stored to get them to about 15 months. Now that my milk ducts have dried up, I have little to no breastfat and therefore I have man boobs. I was shocked when I put on a sports bra for the first time and saw how it flattened me out. I want to lose burn fat and build up some muscle, but I'm embarrassed about my man boobs and therefore not motivated to hit the gym. I decided to go forward with the augmentation and am hoping to regain fullness and feel like a woman again. I sought a female surgeon, because I feel like the male surgeons tend to push for larger breasts. Don't get me wrong, larger breasts look fuller and more appealing, but I want to look natural, and D or DD does not look natural on my frame. I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and I'm pretty sure I'm an A cup now (I was 34B prepregnancy). I met with Dr. Honeycutt and was pleased to learn she uses the Keller method and has a very low capsular contracture rate (in comparison to national averages). I'm set on silicone, but I'm debating between Mentor and Sientra - leaning towards Sientra. Probably 300 cc's. For any of you who chose one over the other, I would love to hear why you chose your brand. I'm also a bit wary to go textured, as there is a link between textured implants and a specific type of cancer. Plus the textured were firmer and required a larger incision. But do the benefits outweigh the risks?? So many thinks to consider! Pre-op is in three weeks!

Size?

I've been stalking this site and trying to find others my size with similar looking pre-aug breasts. The cc's (to get what I want to look like) have ranged from 250-375! I'm pretty sure I want to go with a mod+, because I feel the moderate will end up being too wide and the high profile too pointy. I know righty is smaller than lefty, so righty will get, maybe, 50 cc's more than lefty. Attached are some "wish" boobs.

Pre-Op Done and Paid in Full

I had my pre-op appointment today and got to try on sizers. I chose 250cc Sientra round. I'm not looking for Barbie boobs - just fullness. I asked the nurse if I need to be going up to 280 ccs to account for the "under the muscle" loss. She said the sizers account for the loss and are pretty accurate. The 250 ccs give me about one additional cup size, which would give me the small C I'm shooting for. Debating on textured vs. smooth. Textured supposedly has less chance for capsular contracture but have been linked to a specific type of cancer (though most were from the Allergan textured). It would also make the incision an additional half centimeter longer. But the smooth is softer, and I've read mixed reviews on whether the capsular contracture rates are lower when you go submuscular. They definitely are when you are subglandular. Ladies with Sientras: why did you choose smooth or textured? Are you happy with your choice?
I saw that you were considering breast fat transfer and now you're planning on implants. I think you'll get the results you want with the augmentation. You might want to try rice sizers at home to get a feel for the look you want when you go to the gym. Let us know how it goes if you try the rice sizers! video: <rs-video-player video='{"id":"9585","external_id":"4376321384001","uri":"video\/the-rice-test-follow-this-step-by-step-guide-to-choosing-your-breast-implant-size"}'></rs-video-player>
