4 weeks post op!

I went for my 4 week post op appointment yesterday and the nurse is over the moon with how I'm now healing. As you now my right breast has been giving me trouble since day 1. The yellow oozing is now slowing right down after 2 weeks of antibiotics.
Since being able to shower they are looking so much nicer AND I NO LONGER HAVE DANDRUFF. Haha. I can start with scar treatment next week and fingers crossed I can get out of these sports bras in 2 weeks.
Next appointment is in 2 weeks so I'm staying positive they will still be on the right track

From the moment I met with my surgeon I felt very comfortable with him and any questions I had were answered. The nurses at the clinic were fantastic and couldn't have been any nicer. I have rated based on my experience so far, I have not yet been back to a follow up appointment

Oh my gosh. What a pain in the butt. I am so sorry it's going that way for you. My lift is one week old today. No real issues that I know of so far. Keep us posted. Did nipple sensation return yet for you?

I'm feeling much better about them now. I love them! The oozing has stopped and my scars are virtually non existent all ready! The nurse couldn't believe how well they had healed. Maybe not showering and having scabs on for 3 weeks helped? I have uploaded a more recent photo, look at the difference in just a few days. My left nipple is still super sensitive I have a little feeling in my right but no it's not back 100%.
Glad to hear you are doing well. Keep me posted on how your recovery goes xx

Oh yes. That looks much better. May I ask a weird question? Did either one of your nipples look lighter in color? Like pale? My right one is just pale and slightly drooping at the bottom. It is warm to the touch, I just wonder why it's pale. When I touch it it feels like a gummy fruit. Lol it seems to be responsive as far as how it reacts to chill. You know what I mean and I am feeling phantom pains in the spot my nipples used to be in only when I reach down to it my nipple is no longer there. Lol I hope that's normal

Lol. My right nipple is still flat and squishy haha. They are both the same colour though. If it gets really warm it could be a sign of infection but you need to ask your surgeon if you're worried. As for pain I haven't had any at all since having the op. I still have quite a lot of swelling though x

This sounds exactly like what's going on with me. One boob behaving and the other doing it's own thing!
I'm only 2 weeks post op and really shocked at how they look. Not disappointed exactly but shocked xx

2 weeks is very early be patient I’m sure things will get better. I’m 4 months post op and seeing my surgeon December. I’m still not 100% satisfied with my results I will be asking for revision surgery. My right breast has been nothing but a pain since day 1. (Not physical pain just not healing as well as the left) my right nipple as settled lower than the left and the scaring is more prominent. I’ll upload pics to show you. Good look in your recovery xx

Almost 4 weeks post op

The green gunk as finally gone. I'm now left with yellow oozing under my right breast and what looks like a pocket of yellow fluid. My results from the swab came back, they was clear. No infection. Unsure what's going on whether this is the beginning of wound breakdown, a reaction or possibly spitting suture. Back to the clinic tomorrow to hopefully get some answers.

3 weeks post op

Finally had a shower! I was so scared as I'd finally be seeing my breasts, properly at home.
I have slight scar separation under my right boob, I think this was where I was oozing last week. I still haven't had my results from the swab but they have given me antibiotics to see how things go.
As promised here's my 3 weeks progress photos. Sorry they're a little graphic.
