28 Years Old, 5ft 1" and No Children Wanting the Dream Body Without Compromising - Birmingham, GB

I've always struggled with my weight, with being at my peek 161 lbs to 116 lbs at my lowest. I have found that both have there down sides (such as health risks) the other not carrying enough weight for my frame.
I started going to the gym and building up muscle I'm actually on the heavy end of the spectrum (147 lbs). But due to family genetics I haven't been able to shift the weight from certain areas of my body and losing shape from others.
I decided to have a fat transfer to buttocks because I was sick of comprising.
I'm actually having the operation a week after my mom who is having the same procedure, both of us have chosen Mr. K Mehboob Ali FRCS(Plast) in Birmingham.
Will try to document my experience for myself and everyone else looking to have this procedure.

I had two consultants with mr mehboob, the first was a quick 10 mins chat the second was a full consultation.
I went in with my mom as well for her consultation so I got to see how he treats doing the same procedure (almost) on two very different age groups.
With myself his approach was more of removing the areas that I definitely wanted treated (lower abdominal, flanks, upper and lower back) but said that he may or may not need to liposuction the fat just under the buttocks to get a better shape but said that he would have to see on the day of the operation.
He used the words "sculpt" and "flow" a lot and explained that his approach changes from patient to patient due to there frame.
With my mom it was more an issue of skin (as she's 55) and was very particular that she know exactly where the loose skin would be and what type of results to expect. He also stressed how long she would have to wear the compression garments for (up to 18 months).
Overall I found him to be an interesting mixture of clinical, methodical and artistic.
By the end of the consultation I had him laughing at my jokes ... well after all that I was sold :)

I had my pre op appointment yesterday which consisted of bloods and measuring for my compression garments, which are specially ordered. I didn't have as much checked as my mom who had a ECG scan due her medical history so Mr Ali was going the extra mile.
I've nearly got all the things I need, my mom had her operation yesterday and is doing well. ( results look amazing by the way)

Things that I've got to help with recovery:-

BBL pillow (I got the booty buddy deluxe)
Female urinal (to help when it's impossible to get in and out of the compression garment)
Body pillow (so I have some chance of going to sleep on my front)
Tea tree wipes ( to help with keeping clean minus chemicals)
Loads of baggy clothes such as harem trousers and baggy tops
vercella vita bra's (are pure stretch fabric so don't put on any additional pressure on the back)
Nelsons Arnica Pillules (which apparently help with bruising and swelling)
