I had forgotten to add about my experience with a seroma from the Vaser lipo. 2 weeks post op my right knee and lower thigh blew up like a balloon after a bit of googling realised was probably a seroma so back up to Cardiff as I was due my post op check up and my surgeon aspirated Loads of fluid. I'm left with slight dents on upper inner thigh but they have got so much better as the skin is retracing over time at one point they were very obvious. Breast scarring not as bad as expected considering I wasn't religiously using the scar away tape so I may go back and get more and some bio oil. I'm so pleased with the lipo even though I've lost 10lbs my legs would never have looked this slim through dieting they were definitely my problem area,

You poor thing. I also had a lot of bruising due to my capsulectomy (i.e. removal of old implant pockets). Did you also have a capsulectomy? I was told the worst bruising is days four through five. During this time my PS told me to keep my breasts warm. Not with a heating pad or anything like that, but to wear warm clothing around my breasts. He said this would to help preserve the blood flow to the areolas. Of course you should do what your doctor recommends. Just thought I would share my experience on this. Talk later. :-)

No luckilly I just had the pocket tightened up a bit. I will ask the surgeon in my follow up Friday how bad the rupture was, I think was quite bad as one breast was completely wider and felt different to the other... scary to think about all that silicone floating around! Thanks for the tip I'm keeping wrapped up warm because it's the middle of winter here so the compression tights are keeping me toasty in the night lol. Little bit freaked out about the lumpy areoles and nipples but I'm sure will all calm down. I've ordered scar away strips will start using once everything's closed up.
How is you're recovering going?

My recovery is going really well now, although it was a little rough in the beginning. Just curious, is the lumpiness on your Areolas caused from scabbing or surgical glue? It's kind of hard to tell from your photo.
Also, until everything is closed up... are you covering your incisions and scabs with aquafer and some kind of dressing? That's what I was instructed to do. Incision wounds usually heal faster with less scarring if they're kept moist (not wet though) and covered. If you Google the words "wound" and "covered or uncovered"... you'll find info on this subject. Hope this is helpful.

I'm sure the rough feeling around the nipple must be the surgical glue. I'm keeping covered with dressings I was sent home with a few spare but have no weeping at all from the incisions. The clinic rung me yesterday to check how I was doing which I thought was a nice touch. Follow up with nurse at clinic this Friday so I will ask then when I can start using the silicone scar strips.

That's good to hear. Surgical glue is great. They didn't use that with me, but I've seen some great results with it... with other members here.
Scaraway is also good product. It's also reusable. One tip regarding any kind of silicone sheet is to be very gentle when removing so not to irritate your skin. I'm only mentioning this because I learned the hard way through trial and error. However now I always use a little soap and water around the edge to gently remove. After removing the sheet I rinse and let it completely dry. Once it's completely dry its sticky again can be reused. Talk later. :-)

Six months ago I had a body lift and my old implants replaced, with a mini lift (scar just under breast and no lollipop scar. Unfortunately the tissue used to create my new pockets hasn't held so I'm booked for another revision end may and he will use cadaver tissue to create hammocks so I also don't have implants under my armpits when laying down.
However, I want them smaller! I'm a dd or e cup with broad back and shoulders, so all drs think the proportions are dine. However I have a size 6-8 bottom (2-4 usa) so buying size 12 (USA 8) tops to accommodate chest. I just want to be a medium c and going to insist this time and I don't care about the scars!

Wow I've never heard of that technique to hold them in place before! Honestly best thing I've done going smaller you will feel so much more in proportion especially with such a small lower body. If anything I wish I had gone slightly smaller again. Neatly 6 months post op and I'm a small D so probably could have had a better result with 150cc implant but I'm still happy. What cc do you have currently? X
