I got 400ccs silicone, submuscular, high profille. Due to my small frame I was stuck on getting 350ccs but after my consultation I opted for the 400ccs and am absolutely so pleased with my new breasts and have no regrets. Dr. Hedden is a genius and he and his staff are the best! I had a speedy recovery and Dr. Hedden and his staff assisted me with everything I needed medically prior to having my surgery as I had some minor issues with my blood pressure and they advised me on how to get this under control prior to my surgery and everything fell into place for the day of my surgery.

Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf. Glad to hear you are pleased with your new look. Did you have anyone to help you the first few days of your recovery? What type of advice did your PS suggest for keeping your blood pressure in check for surgery? Congratulations!

Yes my boyfriend was with me the entire time. He was awesome! He had to help me with everything for the first week. Because my incision was under the crease and the implants were placed submuscular, I was pretty much limited to doing my normal daily acitivities. I was also very out of it with the drugs because I never take any drugs for anything. Luckily I was able to take off three weeks medical leave because I've been on my job so long I had plenty of sick time I'd never used prior to this. Anyway, we stayed in a hotel one mile away from the facility for the weekend so I could rest peacefully after my first post op the day after surgery. The advice on my blood pressure was once fully recovered from the surgery to follow the advice of my PCP (which I had to have her clear me prior to the surgery) was to continue my excercise regimen of running thirty minutes a day (you can also brisk walk if you don't run) and resume my diet which consists of no red meats, no carbs, no dairy, no sweets and no fries foods or processed foods that are very high in sodium. I also drink a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar each morning and at night before bed. This has worked for me. I haven't been able to resume my regimen yet but will next week which is when I'll be cleared to from my PS. I just brisk walk right now which really helps with the back pain from sleeping on my back now since the surgery, and I had lost a lot of weight on my strict diet so a couple of pounds while recovering hasn't been bad for me, but I can definetely feel the differnce in my body. I'll be glad to get back to running and my diet next week:)

That's nice your bf was able to help you during your recovery and that you had 3 weeks of medical leave. Are you back to work yet? How are you feeling? Hopefully you're able to do some brisk walking for your exercise. I have heard of the apple cider vinegar...glad it works for you, of course, along with all the other sacrifices and hard work you do!
