Upcoming Breast Augmentation!!!! Finally.... - Birmingham, AL

Hi everyone! My breast augmentation is FINALLY SCHEDULED for 22 days from now!! I am so excited to finally be doing this! I have ALWAYS wanted to have fuller, larger breast since I was literally in the 2nd grade.....and now I will. I am using Dr. Hedden in Birmingham! I have decided to go with saline implants. I am debating now between 450 and 500cc's. I am 5'3" and currently 130 pounds. I do not want to be one of those girls that "wish I went larger," I want to get it right the first time. Right now, I am trying to find the best sports bra to use for after surgery. I know it must be a zip or snap in the front. So far I have been looking at the Danskin, Champion and UnderArmour brands.

So, I just received my official packet from Hedden Plastic Surgery. It basically just overs everything I need to know about my procedure (breast augmentation) and consent forms. I'm 2 weeks away from the big day! I am very excited. Monday, I have to go to LabCorp to get some blood work done (CBC test). In my packet, it also goes over foods and over the counter medications to avoid these next 2 weeks leading up to my surgery.

For my own personal vain reasons, I have been working out at least once EVERY DAY! I have a little belly fat that I want to shed and tighten up so that I don't have big boobs AND a big belly! lol Also, I know I wont be able to do a lot of working out after my surgery for a few weeks, so I'm trying to get it in while I can.

I am still debating about the size of the implant that I want. Debating between 475cc to 550cc. I know I will be able to try on sizers before my surgery though.

So far, I have already picked up at least 2 sports bras (from Walmart) and I will get some more after my surgery once I see what size I will need going forward.

Thanks to all the ladies that have commented on my posts and sent me messages about their own personal experiences! I am very excited and counting down the days.

So....I'm officially one week away from my surgery date (March 10th) and I am nervous as anything!!!!!!! I can hardly focus on anything else but this surgery. I am a law student and I literally have a paper and tons of reading to finish for tomorrow but I am sidetracked by looking up sports bras, different cc sizes, and of course writing this review (lol). But anyways......last week I got a call from Dr. Hedden's office to go over my lab work and to review over the do's and don't of my packet I received earlier.

One last update, I broke down and ordered the $50 Under Armour sports bra. I must say that I feel most more comfortable with this one than the 2 pack I bought from Walmart. Those were just cotton material and didn't have any type of support. I will be returning those tomorrow. The only dilemma now I am facing is whether or not I should order a second sports bra. The first one I got is a size 34D ( I am currently a 34B). I am looking to get between 500-550cc's. I am wondering if I will beed a 34DD. The RN did tell me that for my frame (5'3' and 130lbs) that 180cc's equals a cup size. So obviously I would need a DD but some reviews I have seen say that you don't really get to your cup size until after the implants drop. Well... I guess that's enough for now! I will attempt to post some pre-op pictures and the sports bras that I have later on this week!
