Everything is going great and the results keep getting better. I don't swell a huge amount and o think it's because I eat fairly clean anyways. I have started using bio oil on belly button and silicon tape and already notice great improvement and it's healing very nicely. I still have tape on my incision and have not seen it but through tape. It appears very thin like pencil drawing. I can't wait to get a look at it and begin scar therapy treatment. I'm more energetic and ready to go and get out with each day. I did go to the store with my oldest and youngest and it was more than a notion. Thank goodness I had my big boy there to help. I couldn't push the cart without getting winded so won't be going grocery shopping for a min. I will let hubby handle that for now. All and all I feel fantastic but have to remind myself to not be too active so I heal properly and nicely;) I'm so happy with my tummy and my decision. Ive been trying on bikinis and dresses and am just in awe of the amazing work he did on my tummy. Dresses fit like a glove ! Each day I look forward to how much flatter my stomach becomes. I can't wait to get go to return to working out to get these curves popping everywhere lol. Happy dance????

Day 8 and I'm feeling great????

Today I had my post op visit and everything looks great!! I was able to have my drain removed and belly button sutures removed. I took a pain pill prior to prepare myself in case dr was ready to remove drain. Thank goodness I did because it was the most unusual sensation. Speaking of pain pulls I have weend myself off and now take tylenol when needed. ....Yay me! So much to share. I took my first shower today and really just kept my back to water because I didn't won't my incisions getting too wet. After getting out of shower I was definitely tired and I guess it woke up my nerves because afterwards I could feel a super tightness and burning sensation ???? So far I am really thrilled with my results. I know it's early and I still have swelling but the difference is night and day! I havent seen my tt incision without tape but it sits very low and appears very thin which makes me very happy! I can easily cover up with bathing suit bikini bottoms and panties. I probably won't post for a few months and give my midway review but like I said so far I'm extremely happy and pray the results only get better!! I hope I've helped someone by sharing my first week po tt journey. Best wishes and Merry Christmas! Side note best Christmas present ever????

Hey! Ive been getting around ok. I'm very tight and hunched over still but everyday gets a little better. Maybe by end of Week 2 I will be standing straight. I've had a couple of sneezes and omg that may be my most painful experience out of everything. I try to hold my tummy down and carefully sneeze but it still hurts . ....pain goes away quickly.

So glad to hear you are doing well. You helped me not be as afraid. I do have to go back to work and am hoping I can stand straight for the most part. I wont risk hurting my self or scar to stand, just hoping. Merry Christmas you look amazing already

So today has been spent mostly in bed. I have been very sleepy and drained. I sm excited that I actually had a bowl movement today. I know tmi....but it's part of sharing right lol?!? I have been taking mom so it made things very easy;) I feel like the swelling is not so bad today. My tummy feels and looks Flater this am. I have weend myself off pain pills and taking tylenol. ...so far so good. My tummy does feel very tight and I'm still slightly hunched over. I am able to get in and out of bed without help so that's good news! I try to walk every couple of hours and i find it helps a lot.
