African American-facial Hair

I have the same issue and had my first laser treatment April 10th my next one is through may 22...im am also on spirolactone 100 mg for 2 .5 months for the hair issue on my face which is not really considered moderate hair growth mild but annoying because I am african american golden brown with very dark hair so the hair is dark that grows and from shaving very prickly and started and I used to break out bad on my chin because of my hair funny thing since being on the meds the hair growth is very slow and barely grows and not I can touch my chin with no and it's smooth any hair that grows is fine like the hair on my arms now and I had the discoloration and shaving too from the break outs but they cleared up too and all the discoloration is almost gone with the help of hydroquine 4% prescribed by my derm...i have hormonal acne around chin area and had line so the spirolactone cleared that up to along with tretinoin 0.05 percent...i only have some discoloration now but hair is almost all gone and bumps are gone...i am going do 4 treatments of laser hair removal but honestly I may only need 3 ..because my hair is almost gone anyway hope this helps spirolactone works wonders but I don't want to be on it too long because of possible side effects I'm doing the laser removal of hair this is the first time in years I could feel comfortable with my husband touching my face especially my chin and not being embarrassed! Good luck I'm getting all my treatment and meds from my derm...and far as the spirolactone you cannot take if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant and it can have some bad side effects .. I haven't had any...the only one I had was dry skin and itch first two weeks but it stopped.

During the treatment did it seem like it took the hair longer to grow back ? I'm really contemplating if I should discontinue my treatments I had 3 treatments every month when the 4th month month came she cancelled then booked me a month later so I missed a whole month she double booked me for May !!
