800cc Saline Dual Plane High Profile Round

Hey y'all! I joined RealSelf a few years ago, but have finally scheduled my long awaited & much needed breast augmentation. The awesome ladies on this website have been super informative, honest, & helpful, so I'm hoping to do the same in return! After doing EXTENSIVE research, I've chosen Dr. Hedden in Birmingham, AL. I'm 34 years old (fixing to be 35 next month), breastfed two boys, 5'7, 155lbs, deflated 36b bra size. I had my virtual consultation with Dr. Hedden via email by sending information & photos. He responded very quickly, within 30 minutes. Due to the fact that I have some droopiness, Dr. Hedden gave me two options: either I have a lollipop lift with a small implant or if I'm comfortable with an implant larger than 350cc, I could go with just a larger implant. Since I've got my heart set on having big boobies & really do not care to have a lift, I decided on going with just the larger saline implants without the lift. I'll be traveling from out of town (Georgia), so I've been working with the out of town coordinator, Heather, who if I may add is absolutely amazing! She's very down to earth, sweet, professional, quick to respond, & knowledgeable. I've paid my deposit with Heather over the phone in the amount 10% of the surgery cost, plus the $35.00 fee. Since I will be traveling from out of the state, I've scheduled my required 3 day stay in Birmingham for April 18, 19, & 20. The first day will be my pre-op in person consultation with Dr. Hedden, second day is surgery, & the third day will be my post-op appointment before I go back home. I've already booked my hotel room, bought my bras for after surgery, arranged for my AMAZING in laws to come take care of my two babies while I'm gone, & my super amazing caregiver/hubby is already set up & ready to take care of me! I'm scheduled for an appointment with my primary care doctor next week to have the required CBC (blood work) & EKG (not everyone has to have it, but it is a requirement since I do have a very mild heart condition called Mitral Valve Prolapse). I've never had surgery or have been under anesthesia, so I'm a little nervous, plus the thought of me being intubated kind of freaks me out... I'm an EMT so I know how it works & having it done on myself scares me a little... Anyways, in my opinion it's really important to have a great support system, so I'm super excited to share my journey with y'all & look forward to reading everyone's experiences too! ??

Met with Dr. Hedden this afternoon for my pre-op appointment. He's so professional, smart, honest, & nice!! I'm totally comfortable with him & trust his opinion. On my way now to fill my prescriptions. I'm scheduled to be back in the morning at 6:15 for surgery. Nervous & excited!!!!
