I found out about Dr. hedden on realself actually, sounds crazy maybe but once i saw his information and read his patient reviews i knew he was the one that was going to do my surgery. I wasn't even contemplating going out of state until this point... So not even 3 weeks later I flew in from Maryland (march 12) and he changed my life!! it was totally worth it, Dr. Hedden discussed my options with me based on pictures I had sent in. When I flew in I had a Pre op appt. with him the day before surgery. Up until then I was pretty set on having at least 400cc implants, during the pre op appt. i decided to go with 550cc silicone, And I really couldn't be more pleased with the results, I am only two weeks post op currently. But feel like a new woman. Trust and believe me I know that 550cc sounds big, but quite honestly for me I feel they're very proportionate and I wouldn't have been happy with anything else!!! I've always worn a 36B due to a 60 pound weightloss about 9 years ago, my breasts started to sag pretty bad, dr. Hedden also said during my Pre op that I have tubular breasts and that he actually thought i was an "a cup". We didn't know until it was "go time" wether or not I would need a lollipop lift or just a periareolar lift, I wanted to steer away from the extra scar if at all possible, but I also told the doc that of there was any chance my boobs would sag afterward to please do the full lift...SURPRISE... I didn't need the full lift (I'm pretty sure this had to do with the size of implant), but I trusted him. ;) This doctor is totally amazing, extremely knowledgeable and highly recommended!!! I am 26 years old, have no children, am 5'6" 160 pounds...and wonderful now ;), also active duty navy. If anyone has any questions about my experience I'd be more than happy to help. ;). congratulations! you look amazing...Im 5'5 with medium frame (160 lbs),,, Im fighting to have 500cc atleast but my doctor is insisting 475cc...hope I will have the same result as yours

Hey thanks so much ;) yeah the other plastic surgeon I had a consult with didn't want to go more than 375, let alone 400... Dr Hedden didn't even blink when I said 550.... He said that most people undergo additional surgeries because of two reasons 1)they want silicone and 2) they want to go bigger, I figured I'd rather be a little "too big" rather than a little too small. I didn't want to be either one of those people. And I couldn't be happier, they really are very proportional, and I would fight for what YOU want ;). I wish you all the best girl!!!

You look great! I remember you contacted me, and I'm actually 8 weeks post op from breast lift revision. I had a surprise pregnancy. But, once again Dr. Hedden took care of me! and I'm back in love with my body! lol

How was it flying to Birmingham and then back to Maryland? I've heard flying right after surgery is a big no-no so being out of state would mean a longer trip. I'm from Pennsylvania so the distance is almost the same. Did you feel like you had enough time with him in order to feel comfortable? I'm just worried that my first and only pre-op appointment would be the first time I'm meeting him and is the day before surgery. I do agree with everyone else too, you look fabulous!

Heyyy!!! No not at all, I was fine flying, a little sore still of course... But they do it all the time, dr Hedden has an out of state patient coordinator and everything, they do it all the time... Oh totally, I saw a few other surgeons around me here... He knows what he's doing, answers all questions and will tell you if anything else comes up to write them up and go over it with him the morning before surgery. Aww thanks!!! I feel amazing ;) .... I'm telling you, you will not regret it ;) please don't hesitate if you have any other questions. ****
Thank you for sharing your great story and photos! I think the size is perfectly proportionate on you. And congratulations on the weight loss too. How did you lose 60 lbs? That's a lot! Congrads on the new you!
Gosh, you make everything sound so simple but I'm certain it takes a lot of time and dedication. Forgot to ask you, how long did you stay in AL for your recovery?
