I am super nervous for my procedure that is less than A WEEK away. I have decided to go out of town to Alabama and let Dr. Hedden do my breast AG. I have spent numerous amounts of time on researching exactly what I want. I have come to a decision...... I am going with a 500cc moderate plus saline implant. I am currently 5'8 and 140lbs with and athletic figure. My shoulders are wider than most women which is why I decided to go with a larger implant. My surgeon has mailed me a packet of thing to DO and NOT TO DO, which has been extremely helpful. The most helpful piece of information in the packet was the rice sizer test. This simple task helps you decide the fullness you want or desire and lets you get the feel of how much weight you will be carrying around after your operation. I used 2.2 cups (equivalent to 500cc) of small grain rice with panty hoes and used the rice sizers in my VS sports bra that I ordered to wear after my procedure (it opens in the front). They have cheaper ones at Wal-Mart but I workout and run which is why I decided to spend the extra money for a more supportive bra with under wire. I have a few pre operative pictures that may be helpful. I can't wait to have larger more full breast:)

Helpful Tips:
Make a list of things you want to ask your surgeon.
Ask for prescription meds day before surgery.
Do your research before your consultation.
Bring pictures of what you want your breast to look like.
Most importantly have a plan!!!

I didn't know about this site back then, so I haven't reviewed him, but he did my breast aug and lift five years ago. Like you, I decided to go out of town for it. Relax and let yourself get excited! You've done the research, I'm sure, and now it's time to get what you want. I think he does a great job on breasts and my husband agrees! Follow drs orders and everything will be fine. You're rice test looks super and I'm excited to see how happy you'll be after your procedure.

Check out my profile and pics. Im not the same specs as you but I was a patient of Heddens and my results are fantastic IMO. I didnt get the 'warm and fuzzy' from the clinic, but his reviews and repore were my main concentration, so all in all Im very satisfied with the results.

I just took a look at your photos and you look awesome! I am excited and nervous all at the same time. When reading reviews online about Dr. Hedden and his facility I heard all good things about the PS but less good things about the staff. I have read that waiting is an issue so I have kind of prepared myself to wait a little longer than usual. =(

lol yeeeah- I waited in a room by myself looking at boob 'sizers' for over an hour my first visit... I had to go to the front desk and ask them if anyone was coming back to help me? lol BUT- its the doctors skill I was ultimately paying for and trusting in, and kept in mind- so, I just gritted my teeth.

It is completely understandable :) I am so happy for you! Was you able to go with the 500cc?
January 8, 2015
No I ended up going with a moderate round saline 425cc implant and over filling it to 475cc. The PS said that a 500cc implant probably wouldn't fit, I didn't have enough skin to accommodate an implant that large. But I'm so pleased with the 475cc.

Oh, ok, I am sure they look great!!

So far so good! My surgery couldn't have gone any smoother and I'm delighted with my results. I ended up going with a 425cc moderate profile saline implant and overfilled it to 475cc. My PS thought that a 500cc implant may not fit, which scared me a little, so I decided to just go with my gut and do 475cc. Last night I forgot to set my alarm to remind me to wake up and take my pain meds, so I woke up in a little bit of pain. Over all I haven't had much pain its been more muscle spasms than anything which is why I am so thankful for Valium it has been a life saver. In combination with the Valium I have been using ice which feels amazing because it seems to numb everything. I will keep y'all updated through the next couple of days and post more picture. The twins are still riding high and swollen which is normal. The PS said that everything looked great today at my follow up appointment and that they should drop in the next few weeks and the swelling should subside as well.

Glad everything went well. ICE- yes! Was my best friend for weeks! Just be careful not to get 'ice burn'- if it 'hurts' against your hand, its hurting your boob and could cause nerve damage- so just be sure to check.

I had mine placed under the muscle.

I'm getting 475cc hp unders in two days and I'm really nervous about the pain of going under the muscle. How bad is it?
January 12, 2015
I had more muscle spasms than pain. I took Valium for the spasms and only took percocets for the first three days only twice a day. I wasn't in much pain at all and I'm a whimp when it comes to pain!

Oh and I forgot my favorite thing to do when I felt pain coming on......I got a grocery bag full of ice and sat it on my chest with a thin layer of paper between my skin and the ice!!! The ice was amazing and made everything numb!
