So far I've called Dr. Hedden's out of state...
WORTH IT$3,000
So far I've called Dr. Hedden's out of state coordinator. I've heard wonderful things about him and his team! I'm very excited about this journey. I'm a 36 A/B (somewhere around there) I've always had small boobs but they use to have some shape to them. I breastfed both of my children and there is no longer any life in my poor breast. While I'm not sure when I will be having my surgery, I'm hoping to have it between April and July. Until then I'm actively trying to get my husband on board (he's almost there although he's a bit weirded out by it all) so I've made rice sizers for the both of us. I've made sizers for 350cc's, 425cc's, and 540cc's. I was going back and forth between 425 and 540cc's. The husband thinks I should go as big as I can. He says if I'm going to do it, go big (surprisingly!). So I've been playing with the two of those sizes and my boobies are definitely loving the 540's. So here's to hoping.

Scheduling!
Hello Real Self members! I sent in my photo's to Dr. Hedden and received an okay to schedule my surgery. I've also received a definite green light from my husband! Yay! So, I'm hoping I can schedule my surgery for next month by the end of the month. Omg I'm so excited! Any Hedden girls have luck scheduling only 1 month in advance? I'm really hoping he can fit me in... Tomorrow is Monday so I will be writing back soon to say whether I was successful or not. Wish me luck!

Hi - good luck with everything. Dr. Hedden did my BA/BL and tummy tuck on 11/24/14. I live in NY and while initially I had some concerns post surgery they were all due to some miscommunications with his office staff. Dr. Hedden was really great and takes a lot of pride in his reputation so please don't hesitate to email or text him if you have any concerns or questions. The best bra is the Victoria's Secret Ultimate sports bra. When I say I bought hundreds of sports bras from Target, Wal Mart, Amazon and any other store I could find, I wasn't satisfied until I finally went to VS and bought the Ultimate sports bras. They aren't the best at sizing, at least the girl who helped me wasn't good. She told me I needed a 32 DD, even though my breast was pushing up from the bra. I purchased 32DDD and they fit great and hold everything in. I didn't use any pills or cream for bruising with my breasts and they never really hurt much. The liposuction I had done on my legs was most painful. My tummy wasn't even very sore because I opted for the exparel (sp?).
Good luck!!

Oh, the Walgreens near Dr. Hedden's office sells the liquid acetaminophen. It works great and I only had to take the prescription pain meds the first day.

Dr. Hedden's office will tell you to drink plenty of Gatorade but make sure you get the G2. You'll be so happy. I love my new boopies!!

For $35 Dr. Hedden's office will do your blood work right there in his office so I opted for that. You only need a physical/mammogram if you're over 50 years old so all I needed was the bloodworm. If you have an aversion to certain pain medications I'm sure he will write a different prescription but I think he has a standard list of meds that he prescribes. Just be sure to ask him questions, even if he seems rushed. When he says "do you have anymore questions" he really means it so take your list of questions before and after surgery. Nicole, who does surgery intake, is absolutely awesome! So is Wynne, his nurse. If you feel nervous or scared at any time, please speak up. You're going to be thrilled with your results!!
