I came from out of town to have my breast augmentation. I had my initial consult and then I scheduled my surgery 3 weeks later so I could decide on a size. I thought I had my decision made and right before surgery I went 50cc higher. I was so glad I did. Dr. Hedden didn't try to pursuade me one way or the other. He just told me I needed to get what I felt comfortable with. The Tuba procedure was seemless. I hardly had any discomfort 3-5 days post op. The best part was no scars! Penny and all the girls at his office are wonderful and sweet. I would recommend Dr. Hedden and his team hands down!
I did The Tuba Procedure: 425 cc Saline rt and 400 cc Saline on the lft, went under full muscle. I am 4"10 and weigh 105 lbs. This picture was taken 1 week post op.

Congratulations! Did you have far to travel for your procedure? Did anyone help you the first few days of your recovery? Feel free to share any travel tips you found helpful.

I traveled two hours for my procedure. My Husband came with me. We stayed the night across the street from Dr. Hedden's office. The Hampton Inn was very accomdating to me being post op and staying there. We were allowed to have a late check out the next morning so I could shower after my follow up with Dr. Hedden. There is a CVS and Walgreens right across the street so your caregiver can obtain your post procedure pain meds for you while you are in surgery. I had no problems getting around or lifing my arms after the TUBA procedure. This is the primary reason why a chose this option. Being a working mother of 2 small children I needed minimal down time.

Congrats!!! Makes me feel confident in my decision with choosing Dr. Hedden. I go for the same procedure but I'm going with 550cc on May 20 and can't wait!!!!

Congrats to you, You will be so happy! Just be patient post op when you are waiting for them to settle. They do seem high for a while. Gravity will take over mine are just now starting to settle in but still have a ways to go. I am confident they will look stellar by swim suit season!

I went to Dr. Hedden too. I went to Publix pharmacy and stayed at Extended Stay America. He is a great doctor and is very reasonably priced.

Thanks for sharing your story! Could you please post more pictures.. I am about the same build as you and worried that 400cc is going to be to big for my frame. Would love to hear how you feel about the size! Also happy healing (:

Yes a great doctor!! I went thru him as well ...can you check out my pics and tell me your opinion as far as dropping and healing goes I'm so critical on myself I'm worried about the left (tattooed) side

That looks pretty normal. My right side took a lot longer to drop. They didn't get even till about 4 months. I am at 6 months now and with lots of massage techniques they fell into place. I am still wearing a sports bra because I don't want them to lose their shape. Congrats to you!

You stated in your review, you had your initial consultation, then had surgery 3week later. As a out of state patient , did you "fly in for initial consultation, then flew back in 3 weeks for your surgery".. So what was your TOTAL cost for surgery and two different travel trips there? Any updated photos for your review? Wish you the best with finally Results;) Thanks, for your review.

I live 2 hours away, so it was in driving distance. My total cost was surgery only. I stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street, which was about 120 a night. Dr. Hedden's office actually caters to out of town patients and they schedule your visit and make it all inclusive incase you have to fly. Day 1 you get your consult, Day 2 then surgery, Day 3 follow up and then you can go home. They go ahead and schedule everything for you when you initally call.

With Dr. Hedden how much do you spend on everything? I’m out of town as well and am saving up money for my BA just don’t know how much everything is going to cost. Also do they give you a support garment to wear after you leave or do you have to buy one after post-op
