Here are some photos I took along the way. Looking forward to my post-op appointment tomorrow. My left boob is annoying the heck out of me!

Finally decided to write my review! I wanted to wait until I decided it was worth it.
A little background: I'm 32 & was barely a 34A, I had that annoying gap in my bra that my son used as a little handle when I would hold him :) I have a 2.5yr old son who I breastfed for 15 months. I've been seriously considering breast implants for probably 10 years but have always been pretty terrified of anesthesia since I've never had it. After breastfeeding I needed a breast augmentation even more but now that I had a kid it felt like a selfish thing to do so I pushed it off. I wont bore you with the details but things in my life kinda lined up right & it felt like the right time so I just went for it. Had the consultation, scheduled the procedure & it's done! So happy I did it. But I will tell you, after scheduling the procedure I had many many second thoughts & If I wouldn't have paid in advance I probably would have cancelled but I think that's pretty normal.

So I'm almost 2 weeks post-op, I have my first post-op appointment Wednesday.
The procedure went well. Like I said, I was terrified of being put under anesthesia but everything was fine. I woke up feeling great. I had about an hour drive back so the pain did start to increase a little but not bad at all.. I was surprised but how easy it all felt. Took pain meds right when I got home & slept on & off the rest of the day. I did get very nauseous about 4-5 hours after & it lasted all night. I took a nausea pill but threw it up right after. The pain was pretty bad for about 4 days & then it was manageable with just Ibuprofen. My chest felt extremely heavy & tight for about a week. Around day 4 & 5, I did get in that funk that I read about. I was thinking what the heck did I do, they are too big, my boobs weren't that bad, I'm a horrible Mom. But you know what helps that..looking at your before pictures haha. Now I feel pretty good. My right breast is definitely healing much faster, it feels great. My left still feels pretty tight, it's more swollen & the incision hurts every now & then.

I had two consultations. The first one, after trying on the sizers, I told the PS that I was thinking around 250cc, 300cc seemed really big. So for the rest of the consultation he basically was trying to talk me into going bigger, even saying 500cc wouldnt be crazy. I am 5'2", 120lbs & said I wanted to look natural soo....yeah, obviously didn't choose him. But I think he might have got in my head (my 2nd consultation was right after) & everyone saying they wish they went bigger. Dr. Cohn was great, he said mid 200's to low 300's would be great for me. After trying on sizers & seeing the size on their computer imaging, I chose 345cc. All the way up to the surgery I second guessed that I thought it was too big. Dr. Cohn said they would have smaller & bigger implants in surgery to try & see what looks the best & I trusted him. I chose the breast crease incision because he said it has the least chance of infection. I love them more & more everyday.
