Over a year later.... Officially regret my decision

I can comfortably say I truly regret my decision to get implants, and am casually starting the process of researching explant.
I feel like the pressures put on women to look a certain way is extremely detrimental. I was beautiful before my procedure, and I wish I had the strength to stand up to societal pressures and realize that. Big boobs don't change you, they just made me come across as vain and image obsessed. I do like the way they look with no clothes, but I hate them with clothes and I hate the way they feel.
Ladies, if I can offer any advice to you, just make sure you are doing this for the right reasons. And remember that having big boobs does NOT make you anymore of a woman than those without them, and that your insecurities will NOT go away with this procedure. Love yourself for who you are, you are beautiful as is.
This will probably be my last post, but if anyone has questions, please feel free to reach out.
Much love to you all.

I looked back at your journey and see you have mentioned several times you didn’t like the feel of them. After a year, that should be plenty time for them to settle and adjust. I think they look beautiful and look great with the rest of your body. They fit perfectly with your frame! But ultimately if your unhappy maybe explant is the right thing for you to do. I am personally trying SculpSure on my abdomen as I am to scared to do a TT. My breasts have given me the confidence I’ve lacked for years. You are absolutely gorgeous and are right we need to learn to love ourselves for the way we are. We support you no matter the choice you make. Please keep us posted bc it really helps others w/their decisions when feeling the same way. Good luck sweetie. ❤️

Update!

It's been a looooong time! I've been traveling for the past 3 months so I haven't really had a chance to post. But everything is going well! Scars are still pretty visible but it doesn't really bother me. To sum up my feelings, I love the way they look, I hate the way they feel. They still are super sensitive and I don't really like having them touched. They feel fake, even though they are soft. I struggle when people ask me if I am still happy with the decision that I made, because I do feel so much better in a bathing suit and other shirts, but at the same time I still feel like crap about other parts of my body, so it really didn't do much for my confidence.
Any questions, ask away!
Thanks ladies!

Girl you look so good !!!! The size is Perfect for your small frame. Sorry they are still hypersensitive . did your PS give you a time frame for them to return to normal sensation wise? I just have to say I am not sure why you feel crappy about any part of your body. your body is hot! I guess we are our own worst critics. But trust me you look great and I hope you can start to see that too Xoxo

5 months!

Omg it's been 5 months. Where the hell is time going....
Anyways, here's a couple more pictures. I'm starting to feel better again about them, but I'm still not convinced it was worth it. They are definitely getting softer, but they are still quite sensitive. I've pretty much just found other things to be unhappy/self conscious about now, so it's not like my self esteem has changed much. But oh well. It does feel nice to be able to feel like I fill out my shirts more now. Haha
As for the double bubble issue in my last post, my doctor said it's probably just the way my old breast tissue sits and not to worry about it. You can't tell with my arms down anyways.

Hey just posted one! They are definitely softer, but still not real boob soft. But I guess that is to be expected.
