I went to Dr. HEDDEN because a lot of my friends had great reviews from him. My first initial consultation was very rushed and I didn't feel I got all the questions anwsered that I needed. Although, he was very polite and had great bed side manor. I chose to go with him as I was looking at many surgeons. The day of surgery I waited forever in the pre op room. I was so nervous but he came in and assured me I would look great. He chose biplanar ba due to the dropoint of my breast. I feel he made the best decision. I do wish I would have went bigger I was a 38c/d before I got 400cc and I am 4 weeks out and am a 38 ddd/f. My breast look great and he did an amazing job.

They look great! I think a ddd/f is big!! With having kids, my breasts just got bigger and bigger and never went away. What other PS did you consult with in Bham if you don't mind me asking? I am looking into a few here.

I am sorry you felt rushed. I always end my first consultation by asking the patient if they have any additional questions because I will never end the consult until you tell me you have no more questions. I know that what frequently happens is that most patients have more questions after their visit and that makes them feel as though we rushed through. I am sorry you felt that way but I do always ask if you have any more questions before I move on to the next patient. We have also tried to add more info under our FAQ segment to try to answer all concerns. I know sometimes in consults when everything seems straight forward that there are not many concerns from my point after the exam if I know you will get a good result and if the pt then does not have more questions ...we get to an awkward moment of silence. So I try not to waste the patients time as well. But I do give everyone my cell number and email on my card and answer all the email as well as respond to reviews:) myself. So again I am very sorry you felt rushed. I'm glad you are happy with your results. Have a wonderful holiday.

Although, I felt rushed it did not change my mind about how assuring he was that I would look great. Because of his confidence I wouldn't have chose any other surgeon. I had a consultation with Dr beckenstein, Dr Oliver, Dr Hedden and one from my hometown. Even though I traveled I wouldn't chose any other surgeon!! Dr. Hedden is someone I recommend to everyone. I will always go back to him with any surgery I get done in the future! He also has great prices!

Thanks! I was recommended Beckenstein for a BR (plus I think my insurance would use him) but I'm still not sure I want to do it. Hedden seems popular for BA. My tummy is the main issue and I'm super particular with my likes and dislikes, so I need to consult with multiple PS. It's nice to hear positive experiences from local girls! I'm new to the state :)

I understand. My mom used beckenstein for a reduction and not to put him down but her "loli pop" scars aren't so pretty. She also wanted implants after and he wont do it. Says she looks good the way she is. Lol try out Dr. Hedden see what he says! Goodluck!

I'm Glad your doing great but am sorry you felt you did not get all your questions answered. I always as patients before I walk out of the consultation if they have any other questions or concerns. I'm sorry if you felt rushed and did not get your questions answered but once I ask if you have any other questions And you so no then explaining more sometimes just gets patients more confused. I'm sorry that you felt that way. I am glad you are happy with the results.

You did an amazing job. Couldn't be happier! It was more my fault like you said you did ask if I had any more questions as I did say no afterward. I should have brought in a list of questions to better understand the entire procedure. I have told multiple people about my journey and they have had consultations and have either already had surgery or choosing a date. Your great! Thanks again.
