I went to Dr Hedden had consult and received a quote. I went for cellulaze quote and was convinced I needed more. After reviewing 3 seep rate quotes I decided on a BBL with cellulaze for 5000$ I sent 1000$ to hold surgery date. I received a call 2 weeks later with them asking for 1000 more dollars than the quote. I was done very wrong. They did not honor their quote even after I had recorded and written proof ! Very unprofessional after I had my heart set. No one should go through that!

They haven't sent my deposit back yet! It's been 2 weeks they stated they would , however where I live he is the only BBL doctor . I was very hurt that he fired me for " breaking trust" by recording my consult. How many people go to doctor and not remember all that wa said. I'm a nurse and with your own medical visits you are anxious. In Alabama it is legal to record a conversation that you are involved in. So when I sent the office manager our consult recorded she said client trust was broken and they would not be doing my surgery or any surgery! But I PROVED that they were doing me poorly by upping the price. Thing is , she said the 5000 was for BBL fat grafting ONLY and that they needed 1000 more to " harvest fat". Isn't that what a BBL is in the dirt place !

Omg... I'm so sorry that this happened to you. Can you find a doctor in Georgia? From what I have seen on here (RS), there are a couple of surgeons that have received decent reviews...I hope that everything works out for you. Please keep us posted & good luck!!!

In our practice patients sometimes come in wanting several procedures and the more they have performed the more we discount the additional procedures but when they don't want all the procedures but just one then it does not allow for all the discounts offered for multiple procedures. But as a physician openness and honesty is paramount during the consult. For someone to record a consult without informing the doctor raises concerns about the doctor- patient trust and that is why sometimes we just tell them we are not the practice for them and give a full refund. The reason doctors can give patients discounts on more then one procedure is because they save on anesthesia and operating room costs and this is then passed on to the patient but when they elect to only have the one procedure it goes back to the original quote and all of this is always explained to the patient. There was an obvious lost of trust and all was refunded. I hope she finds the right surgeon for her and is completely forthcoming with recordings and such.

I have not received a refund ! The initial quote was for 5000 Cellulaze and bbl , and IF I added gluteal implants you would discount THOSE And the ORIGINAL written quote I will be uploading shortly for all to see. As requested the original PRICE QUOTE was for attention to my gluteal/ hamstring area for cellulite . YOU suggested the implants! And offered THOSE at a discount of 3000 additional dollars as they would have been 5000 for JUST Implants. I did not want implants. The original quote was separated for that reason as requested then after sending 1000$ you Added 1000 for the "lipo" to harvest the fat after the fact . It did not explain a Non discounted price of the BBL and Cellulaze written down ANYWHERE nor did it explain if you don't get ALL these procedures You have to pay extra for the one I scheduled the consult for in the first place ! I was /am crushed I wanted the procedure. I sent the money I did my part to Hire You ! Sought you out and hired YOU . After years waiting. And I felt as if you thought you could get more money so you tried!

I recieved my 1000 refund. Here is the quote sheet I was given and you can see clearly for fat transfer I and Cellulaze reg 6000 but cash price 5000.

I went to a consult in February. Saw two PS from this office, and received a quote from them. I wanted to reaffirm what I wanted, so I went back 3 weeks later to Dr. Hedden a second time. I received another quote for a semi-different procedure which he would cost me lots LESS money. After, having a few months to think and decided what I wanted, which was the more expensive of the two. He would have been fine either way, but I did my homework and discussed it more than once. From my experience, the place runs like a well oiled machine with great nurses and staff members, and I am sure it cost to keep it that way. Just wanted to put my two cents in bc I had a great experience there as many others have too. Sounds like a misunderstanding that I wish had been resolved bc he is a phenomenal surgeon. I just had to look past the cost to have it handled by such a capable man.

Trish , I am glad you had a good experience. The nurses and staff were nice, the doctor was nice but miscommunication / omission of information in regards to the quote changing if I didn't want procedures he suggested as opposed to why I requested the consult . Having said that I received my refund and have moved past the experience. Good luck with your procedure !
