I actually sat in on a 4 day workshop at one week post op (last week). I'm glad I did. Staying in the house was driving me crazy. I disguised my drain tubes very well. Tonight is my first night attempting to sleep on my bed. I've been sleeping on a recliner. I'm dividing my pain killers in half now. I go in for another follow up appointment tomorrow. Maybe my tubes will be removed. Suggested Survival Kit: help from others, a recliner, Phazyme, green tea, mild laxitives, suppositories, baby wipes, Tylenol, water, and foods that digest easily and don't cause too much gas.

You are doing really well. Use lots of pillows in the bed and that really helps. Did the drains come out now?
