Smart Lipo for buffalo hump

I first realized how protruding and very unattractive my hump was. I did research on doctors and various different ways to get rid of this Buffalo hump. I only went to one consult (work location was closer to his office) I vistes this doctor and he seemed enthusiastic about my results and it gave me the green light to gin on with my surgery. After my consult, I put down a large deposit of $1500 to schedule my date of surgery in his BH office. The labs were to be paid out of pocket @ $175. I got my labs done 2 weeks prior to my surgery date. All was fine so now here I am at the office about to go in and get my fat neck hump lipo’d. All I can say is once that check cleared Dr. L’s bedside manner depleted. I was on a generic xanax to calm the nerves and a Percocet for pain. It FUCKEN hurts ok! This doctor didn’t even give me a heads up when inserting the canula into my mid back to insert the lidocaine numbing solution. I almost cried. I was loopy also, due to the meds. He just told me to relax that it was so I wouldn’t feel anything other than pressure. This part sucked! I purchased a compression garment on my own. It had Velcro straps coming from the back of the neck towards the breast plate to give extra compression . Although tender, it felt snug but not uncomfortable. Would I ever go back and would I ever recommend this doctor? No. I had this surgery in April 2016 and it’s not as flat as it was within that year. I maintain my weight and work out. I am glad I went through with the surgery but, would opt to pay a little more than $2500 if the doctor and staff would be more professional and of items would be all included, ie- labs and a compression garment.
