Hi RS sisters! I hope everyone is healing well and those not on the flat side yet, hope u all are preparing for the big day! So I have been feeling good but I must say, this swelling is just not fun and till today, the itchiness. It finally has subsided I think! That's the problem, it comes and goes! So far so good so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I've noticed when j hit the two week mark I felt much more sore on my sides from the Lipo and my stomach is much more sensitive, a good way to describe it is that it feels raw and very tender. It seems I felt less of all this in my first week. Possibly by all the anesthesia is out if my system. I take Tylenol for the discomfort now. At night sometimes I'll take my muscle relaxer. It's not horrible pain just very uncomfortable and stiff feeling. The binder also doesn't help with the discomfort. When I'm swollen it kinda digs into my skin so when I take it off I have tons of indentations from the seams which kinda hurt. I'm looking for a softer binder with a zipper or firm control right now. I've been doing all my usual routines just slower lol! I'm going to Seattle for a wedding so it will be my first attempt at wearing heals for an evening. I hope I can last. I will bring my flats just in case. My rash on my belly is finall disappearing thank goodness! I've been doing bicorneum on my breast incisions and silicone tape for tt incision. It came in handy when I was at the beach and the tide came up so quick and got me wet waist down. I went to the beach house to rinse the sand off real quick and the tape stayed on and protected the incision from getting wet. That tape lasts long. I still haven't changed it and it's going on a week. The pics I'm posing were taken at two weeks post op pretty much, 14-16 days after surgery. Took me a while to update. I have one stitch that I can feel under my right breast (spitting stitch) is that what it's called? Anyway, I will have My PS take a look at it in two weeks when I have my follow up appt. I thought the stitches dissolve? It doesn't hurt, just bothers me when I put scar cream on.

Yes, the itchiness is awful. You're looking great. I can't wait to be at the two week mark. Good thinking on the flats. I hope you enjoy the wedding. Happy healing.
Thanks so much! How r u feeling?r u itching already? The binder doesn't help huh? I need to get a softer one. You'll be at the two week mark before you know it ;) hang in there! Happy healing to u too!! ;)
I did NOT have muscle repair. There are many many side effects to that going forward. If you're muscle is good then it's just the skin that needs tightening! It also looks amazing and so much more natural than when they pull the muscle and tie them together. It's too flat, no six pack and your belly button is often removed so it looks freakish. Better to just have the skin and do more biking to tighten your abs.

Thank you for all your feedback! It's helped me ALOT!
Your very welcome!! Yay! I'm glad it's helped!! You got this!! Don't worry, your in great hands!! ;)
You look amazing!!! So glad you're starting to feel better!
Thanks!! I can't believe how quickly I started to feel good. I think Dr Bruno has a lot to do with my fast recovery and I have you to thank for him. I'm also an RN and had been stalking this site for quite some time, I had 4 dr's lined up for consults then I found ur review on him and the mere fact u said you were a nurse made a big difference to me bc I'm the same way like you in terms of medical aspects, researching docs etc.. So after I read urs saw ur results and a couple other results, I added him to my list! And he's the closest to me. I fell I love with him and his work right away that I canceled all my other consults and booked my surgery lol! I'm still swollen but I'm getting there. I can walk straight, sleep in my sides and no pain. My only downfall was my rash that is now healing (I have super dry, sensitive skin unfortunately) the itchiness has lessened. My boobs didn't feel like they went they anything at all. It's so weird, the BL and change of implants feels like it didn't happen lol! And I get the real squishy feeling ur talking about lol! I had saline prior and the silicone is amazing!! You look awesome and thanks for putting your journey out there, you helped me a million!! ;) xoxo
Hi, sorry i speak Portuguese and I am using the translator because of text is too many mistakes.
I want to raise her breasts and make abdomen, but I am afraid of the surgery. i would like to know if you had gone home on the same day?
how many hours last surgery?
you getting this pain?
what is your weight?
Thanks
Hi!! Let me start to say don't be scared of the surgery. It is so worth it in the end. Dr Bruno is the best! The surgery was about 3-4 hours, I went home the same day, and I did have discomfort like soreness but nothing bad. I have had 4 csection a in the past so maybe I'm used to it but really it doesn't hurt bad just very uncomfortable. I would do it again if I had too. I weighed 116 per surgery and now I weigh 113-114. I'm 5 foot so I'm pretty petite too. Good luck on ur exciting journey! And just remember how good you will look after!! ;)
Look nice
Thank you!! I'm vet happy now with my results!! I can't wait to wear a bikini!!
You look sooo great!
Thank you!! I need to update my review soon. I've taken the tape off and now applying scar treatment. I will try today if I have time to post new pics too! Happy healing!

Back to the norm ...

Hi all! Hope everyone is healing nicely and doing well. Those who are still waiting, hope u all are getting prepared and doing well. If your feeling scared and anxious, don't be. It's definitely worth it! Just keep thinking of how happy you will be and how good you will look! I'm POD 11 and feeling good. My days are pretty much back to the normal routine. I'm driving, cooking, cleaning, schlepping the kids to their activities. My mom had to go back to her life last Wednesday so I pretty much had no choice. My hubby was out of town on a business trip so someone had to take care of my four kiddies. I was feeling fine and up to it so it was ok. The days are fine it's the night when I tire easily. I wake up stiff but once I start walking around my body loosens up. Around late afternoon I will rest a bit before I start cooking dinner. I'm still really swollen but mainly early evening. I'm still watching my salt intake and drinking plenty of water and protein shakes. I will take Tylenol during the day if I feel achy and my pain med once in a while at night if I can't get comfortable. I started to sleep on my sides two nights ago and it felt so good to be in a different position. It was a bit sore but I didn't mind since I've been on my back for the last week. I'm still itchy but now on my boobs so I'm guessing the incisions are healing. My steri strips are starting to slowly peel off. My rash is slowly going away. At least it's not itchy anymore. I put on my bikini for my husband and kids tonight and they couldn't believe how different I looked, lol! I told the kids that mommy was back to her pre-baby body and I couldn't be happier! They were happy that I was finally so happy! I just love my husband for supporting me and keeping his word. It was either me or the backyard and he said "a happy wife is a happy life" and he is right. I feel so less bitchy and grumpy lol! Here's a bathing suit pic with better lighting. Scar is covered but you see the steri strips popping out of bottoms.

11 days and back to normal is great. I'm glad you have such a supportive husband too. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the flat side too. Keep feeling great.
Thanks so much!! I will try to repost the pic...
My mom has also gone back to her life and hubby away for 5 weeks still. So I pulled my big girl panties up and went grocery shopping today, fetched kids, tidied my room and cooked dinner. Wow. The difference a week can make! You're rocking that bikini girl! Yay!
Thanks!! I know right! I guess as mother's we do what we have to to take care of our kiddies that's why it took us so long to get this surgery lol! I'm so happy ur feeling better!! I'm still swollen but I'm being patient as I know it takes time to heal. Yay for us!!
Did you have muscle repair?
Yes I did, I was about two inches apart with diastasis recti
Wow! Sounds like you're healing really well! Congrats! I am going in at the end of this month!!!
Thanks! Recovery has been going very well minus the swelling. It's so worth it!! Good luck to you!! ;)
Yes I had muscle repair. With TT, they repair abdominal muscles.
