Let me start by saying, if I could give 10 or more stars, I would. Dr. Chui and his staff are outstanding.
I've seen Dr. Chui for fillers under my eyes to get rid of the hollowness there, and he's always been en pointe. It always looks natural and no one even knows that I've had anything done: I just look 'fresher'. There have been times I've gone in to get more, and he's honestly told me 'no', as it would give me an unnatural appearance and he's explained to me why I should wait and how adding more filler before needed would defeat the purpose of me looking my best. He always is honest and has the patients best interest.
I initially saw Dr. Chui for a chin implant, and then thought 'Why not go for it and take care of the
In N Out and wine that's been gathering around my middle?' I saw him about getting lipo of my abdomen, flanks and hips. I'm what you might call 'skinny-fat'. I'm 46, 5'7, fairly lean, but just couldn't get the muffin top and belly to go away, no matter what I tried. He took my measurements and agreed that even though 'thin', I had excess fat that could be removed.
His staff is exceptional. I was treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. Lorrie, the patient coordinator/nurse, is fantastic. I have to give her kudos, as I was having a freak out due to my work schedule and trying to get my pre-op blood work done in a timely manner, and she didn't even blink an eye even though I was truly stressed. She was always calm and consistently worked with me to make sure all was taken care of. My calls were always returned and I was even given Dr. Chui's and Lorrie's cell numbers.
My surgery was done in mid December and I couldn't be more thrilled: I look amazing! I have my 25 year old body back-my waist is outrageous! Dr. Chui removed 2 1/2 liters of fat from my abdomen, hips and waist: that's comparable to 2 bottles of wine. Is the recovery painful? Yes, at times. Is it tolerable? Absolutely! I went back to work 2 weeks after my surgery and have been consistent in my post surgery follow-up appointments. Dr. Chui and his staff have taken excellent care of me. I've followed the post-op instructions as directed, including attending appointments, stretching, massage and eating right, and I look great! I can't wait for bikini season! At 6 weeks out, I've lost 2 inches from my waist (hello 24' waist!) and 2 1/2 inches from my hips (new pants in my future!) And as for my chin augmentation? My profile is beautiful. The recovery was easy: I was eating solid foods within 2 days, had minimal swelling for about a week and I look like me...but better!
I can't recommend Dr. Chui highly enough. He is a perfectionist, an artist, cares about his patients, thorough, accessible, down to earth, honest and I wouldn't trust my body or face to anyone else but him.
