I went to see Dr. Emer because I heard he was the doctor in Los Angeles to see for fillers and lasers. I am young, but felt I needed to add some volume to my cheeks and my lips. I was scared about treatment because I see so many of my friends and other people in the area with an overdone, unnatural look, and I didn’t want that for me. I have always had very thin lips and just wanted some shape and lift to them, without them looking fake or unnatural.

After first meeting Dr. Emer, his put my mind at ease. He said he fixed bad work and only went for a natural subtle look. HE also said he used cannulas for injection rather than needle to limit bruising, swelling and pain – which is very common with lip filler injections (so he said). He used Restylane Silk, a new filler for my lip injections. My friends keep telling me that I look amazing, but they cannot figure out what has been done! He also used Radiesse filler to revolumize my cheeks but in a way that “lifted” rather than “filled.” Without injecting my smile lines he was able to improve them through lifting my cheeks. Even my under eyes, which always made me look tired and older, have improved.

Dr. Emer is an artist. I cannot get over how natural and youthful I look from a small amount of filler injections. Based on this entire experience, I am sending all of my friends to him and telling everyone that they shouldn’t compromise their experience by going to someone less costly or without credentials (like a Spa etc).
I will not go to anyone else. He is honest and truthful about aesthetic treatments and what is best for his patients and their individual look, and that is very hard to find in this area. Do not sacrifice your face by going elsewhere.
