I had rhinoplasty with Dr. Kanodia summer of 2007. I was an out of town patient and came to have my survey by him. Initially, everything went fine to begin. I had two follow up appointments before I left to head back home. I was happy to begin but over time I noticed changes. There was cartilage build up on the left side of the tip of my nose/ the sides of where he brought the bone in were uneven/ my nose was not straight ( still to this day for all 3 issues). About 3 years ago I scheduled a consultation with him again to voice my concerns and why I was unhappy. As I got to his office, I noticed some sense of frustration that he wasn't aware I was a consultation (he seem annoyed from the get-go). I sat down and explained why I was unhappy with the results. He told me that I could get filler to correct where I was unhappy, I was not about to fill my face at such a young age (23). After I said no to this option, he goes well I don't do revisions so here is a friends card down the road that does. Pretty ridiculous way to handle a patient that spent over 10K on her first rhinoplasty with him. Note, I was a primary rhinoplasty patient of his (no prior surgeries). Technically he would be fixing his own work, but I guess he isn't into that. All in all, it was an AWFUL follow-up appointment. You would think doctors would have some sense of compassion for an unhappy patient and try to work with them, not him. Find another doctor for your rhinoplasty.
