forehead reduction surgery with Gal Aharonov - Beverly Hills, CA
Hi!! I have decided to get my hairline lowered...
Hairline lowering 1 day post op
Recovery was easy. I was groggy and exhausted for most of the day. Kept my head elevated and bent upright at the waist area to keep blood from swelling up to my head! Iced the back of my neck as well as my eyes 30 min on/30 min off...still icing as I'm writing. Nurse instructed 48 hours of continual icing. I haven't noticed any bruising at all. Just a minor discomfort on the back of my head. Again very minor!
Can't wait til 12pm today. I will be going in to remove the bandages and reveal my new hairline! I'll keep updating! :)
My throat hurts from the breathing mask so it's difficult for me to eat. I gargled a lot of warm salt water before meals. I'm continuing to ice my eyes and my neck which the doctor deemed necessary so that the bruising won't travel down to my eyes! There are tiny bruises on the outer corner of my eyes but nothing too noticeable!
Dr Aharonov warned me that the hairline is going to look harsh before it heals because of the shaving of the baby hairs l. I'm optimistic that the results will be amazing!
Definitely recommend this surgery with doctor aharonov and his staff simply because they do a fantastic job as a team. Faye is amazing and responds quickly to emails, phone calls, and all inquiries before and after surgery. Doctor aharonov is personable, and straight forward with realistic expectations, a precise eye, and a perfectionist attitude. He even came in on his day off just to remove my stitches. All members of the staff have given me a phone call every day since surgery to make sure that I am healing well and to make sure all of my questions are answered. Very professional environment, very personable, and accurate wait times! Well worth the big bucks! Dr Aharonov is pricier than most but you get what you pay for. :)
