WORTH IT
I have been thinking about this procedure for about 3 years. One of the lovely gifts from perimenopause was my body shape changed over the years holding most of my weight on the top. I was very self conscious of my body and tried to hide behind sweaters, long jackets, and dark clothing.
I knew I was ready. I never had a doubt in my mind who was going to perform this type of surgery. I had watched Dr. Emer's work over the last few years and very impressed with the results I saw.
2/18/16 I went in for surgery. I had vaser lip on my entire trunk (back, upper and lower abs, flanks), my upper arms (everything above my elbow) and the fat was transferred to my buttocks. I had a small bottom however a bit masculine with not much fullness. This was a 6 hour procedure and I had 5 liters of fat removed.
Note: I do not live in LA so stayed in a hotel for 2 weeks and had my husband with me to help. He also is awesome! When I arrived back at the hotel I was very motivated to do all I could to heal. I drank a ton of water as I was very swollen and I walked up and down the hallway of the hotel. I did everything that Dr. Emer recommended to help with the recovery process. Another piece that I appreciate about Dr. Emer's approach is he also in concerned of your recovery and will make recommendations. Mine included 5 lymphatic massages, 5 hyperbaric oxygen 90 min. treatments, and vitamin infusion. I drank lots of water, low sodium diet and also tried moved around.
I took 2 weeks off from work, however think if you could swing 3 weeks that would be even better. Week 4 I had more energy and knew each day my body was healing. Week 6 was when I felt things shifted. My full energy had come back and I had started working out and by week 7, I was back at boot camp. I know exercise with a proper diet will be key to transform my body even further. You can see my arms in my Post 8 week picture. I hope you do get a sense of what this procedure has done for me. I plan on putting up another pic when I am 3 months out. I am so pleased with my results!! Dr. Emer gave me a body I am proud to have and has made 51 look and feel GREAT!

Did it leave you with loose skin?
May 1, 2016
Actually I was quite surprised. I was very worried about my arms and have no issues with my arms. Being 51 and having 2 children my there is some loose skin around my abdomen. When I get my next pictures I will post them for you.

Hi thinking of going to dr Jason for
Vaser Lipo for arm and back I will be traveling very far for this so might want to to already more like stomach , wondering how hard was recovery for you ? Pain level ? Did you suffer from any nausea ? Very scared of anesthesia !
He also suggested to me fat transfer to buttock did u find that made recovery longer and more painful ? Plus I really don't want a big butt ( just a more youthful one ) how long were u swollen there ?
How much bigger did the foam make you look under the garment ?
I had previous Lipo done without foam so worried I won't be able to hide my Lipo from people I would fly back after one week or so and summer here very long so can't hide to much
How long until you were social acceptable looking ?
Worried about my arms as well any loose skin ?
Do you see muscle definition as well ?
How bad was loose skin on stomach ?
I have 4 kids that's why not sure if I should do Vaser or tummy tuck but have no time for that kind of down time for now so hoping to get away with just Vaser ( I don't need to be a bikini model

You look fabulous! I will have this procedure with Alfredo Hoyos in Bogota, CO. I hope I will be as satisfied as you are. Traveling myself and unfortunately I won't have someone with me. Any "tips" to share in advance as I prepare?
