Finding a good doctor, especially when it comes to cosmetic surgery, is always a very hard process. You always hear so many horror stories from people and the last thing you want is to have any permanent regrets from going through with a procedure with the wrong doctor. Typically, I have been one to ask friends and family for referrals but due to the nature of the procedure and the inability to find a good referral I decided to take matters into my own hands. I spent a good couple of days researching various doctors and procedures. Not only was I a bit scared to go through with any procedure but I also wanted to make sure I chose the right doctor for the procedure. After doing a great deal of research online, I noticed that Dr. Aboolian consistently had good reviews and feedback on a numerous array of sites.He seemed like the right choice solely by my research but I still set up a few consultations with other doctors as well. I wanted to make sure I met with a few others to have a point of comparison and see which doctor made me feel the most comfortable that he/she would do the best job. After meeting with Dr. Aboolian, I automatically felt his compassion and positive energy. He was very honest and straightforward. We discussed what all my options were, in great detail, and what I should expect. For a doctor with such immense success and publicity, he was very humble. My gut told me he was the right doctor for the job and that he would be able to do an amazing job but I still had a few other doctors to consult with. After meeting with a few other doctors as well, it was clear that Dr. Aboolian was the right choice. It was obvious why his reviews were so positive, across a wide array of sites, and why his patients were so pleased with him. The one thing that I loved about Dr. Aboolian was that he likes to play it very conservative. He wasn’t trying to “sell” me on anything but his mentality was “less is more.” He prefers to only do the necessary work and is not in it just to pump out patients and make a buck. Many other doctors I met with, as good as they might have been, seemed to be running more of a business and did not have as much compassion for me as a patient. They were more interested in doing as much work as possible to maximize their profits. I was constantly being “up-sold” and that made me feel very uncomfortable. I went back to Dr. Aboolian, put down my down payment and did all the necessary paperwork. As I am writing this review, I have already had my procedure done and it is clear that Dr. Aboolian is a perfectionist. He took all necessary precautions to ensure his work is on point. I am very satisfied and pleased with my results so far even though I am still going through the recovery period. To be honest, I am actually even happier than I thought I would be. It is so true, you get what you pay for and I am so happy that I chose Dr. Aboolian as my doctor. I would recommend him for a lifetime because I know that he is definitely the best of the best!
