Hello beautiful people! Not much has change this past month as far as my results. Swelling has gone down quite a bit but on my active days, I still bloat. I went to see Dr. Bruno, my PS in Beverly hills last Monday & he said my results are great. I haven't had the need to wear the compression garment anymore during this 3rd month. I do however wear my Waist trainer once I get home from work... to give me the extra boost to cook dinner and get my family situated. Oh what us moms can do:)
I notice my stomach is flat as a pancake the next day if I keep it on at night after an active day. My weight is stable at 126-127 for the past month. Dr. Bruno said he can't take the credit BC its mostly in part due to my food intake/diet. I dont like to say I am on a diet BC diets never worked for me. But I made the switch to plant-base foods now and my body is somehow deficient and dont feel good if i skip more than 2 days without some veggies in my system. I went back and ate my normal food size consumption (before surgery) and felt utterly SICK, massive stomach aches. Like my body was telling me it can no longer handle the portions I used to eat. Dr. Bruno said that affect is normal BC he gave me an INTERNAL CORSET AND now my stomach has no room for expansion. He also told me the likelihood of me gaining weight back is slim even if I DON'T excercise as long as I keep up with my plant-base foods. Dont get me wrong, I still love my In & Out burger, my lobster etc.... But I am in no rush to hit the gym (germaphobe) but I am an active person, always on my feet. I walk and bike regularly. I hope everyone is having a safe and healthy recovery. I Iove that this surgery has NOt only help my OUTSIDE look great BUT MY INSIDE feels awesome too!!!

Slight Swelling is still present but gradually declining
Been getting back into the routine of things but the swelling is slowly subsiding & going away. It's still there but no longer painful. I started wearing a waist trainer belt & seems to help with swelling when I am active. I notice a slimmer waist too when I wear it. But too early to tell bc I've only started wearing it this week. I haven't lost any additional weight-Staying 127-128 PO. Preop was 141. I've also started recording my food intake on mynetdiary. Always ate healthy but still gain weight in the past. Now with this app, I realized some of my "healthy foods" has tons of calories: grapes 190 calories, bagel w Cream cheese 468 calories. Yikes! Haven't been working out but doing lots of walks!

Thank u!!! You look great too. I wasn't swollen in this picture but just speaking in general that I still swell when I am on my feet and doing my normal stuff. I am 9 wks PO already so was a bit surprise that swelling is still present:(

If at 2 months, the "swelling is subsiding" that's music to my ears, I've been dealing with swell hell all week at 6.5 weeks post op, so looking forward to see where I am when I hit your mark because you look phenomenal!
So flat, love it
I have mynetdiary, I've been neglecting it :/
But I'm picking it up again, my life will go back to normal (fingers crossed) once school starts on Tuesday.
Since sx in July and summer in general, I've gotten used to waking up late! I'm going to sleep at 2 and 3a and getting up no earlier than 10a smh
As of Tues it's back to 6am and I'm usually at the gym by 710a and mynetdiary will once again rule :)
Enjoy your weekend ❤

I purchase the TOTAL GYM and it's been sitting there for last 2 years. You ladies motivated me to get my lazy butt on it last night. Did a 30 min workout and it felt good. Wore my Waist trimmer belt for support. Either that was an awesome workout bc no swelling was present & I lost 2 pounds by the morning. Lol. Hallelujah!!! so going to start working out every day for 30 min. Let's see how long my motivation to workout last:(

Yes I think the biggest contribution so far for me is Healthy eating. I am down 15 pounds PO now. Haven't exercise regularly yet but walk a lot bc I love being outdoors. You look so good!!! I love looking down & not seeing the HUGE belly we used to have.

Yeah, it really is crazy awesome! I can't wait to feel ready for core work. But healing only happens once, so taking my time. :)

My funny 2-tone body
I am loving my new shape even though it's discolor:darker on top bc of the sun but white as heck around the tummy & thigh bc I have to keep my investment protected while its still healing. I love my new shape when it's not bloated. The tingling sensation around my thighs (lipo) and TT areas are still present. When I am too active/on my feet 8-10 hours a day, I feel the swelling & recently experience sharp jolts on my thighs. I don't know what it is but it's painful millisecond jolts that hurts like a %$@. I am shrinking by the minute and down 14 pound to date. Haven't work out yet. Jumped on our stationary bike for 10 min & I was tired. lol that's been my workout for last 2 months! But i am constantly out & about. Can't wait til I have the clearance to do weights and work on toning my abs.
It's been Soooooo long, 10-12 years since I was this size. My backaches is starting to go away too. I believe it's due to the weight lost. This SX has giving me a new purpose in life. I feel more confident, happier, more alive. I went from a size 10-12/Large and now down to a 4 in pants/ XS. I would be happy to stay this size but my Doc said final results will be around 3-4 month mark. So 2 more months to go.

Just beautiful! Wonderful results, good for you doll! Now you have to give up your diet secrets lol
Typical day, what are you eating?
:)

Thanks Momof3... Breakfast. Yogurt. Lunch salads with very little dressing. My favorite rn is the Mano quinoa w shrimp salad @Rubios. Today I had a veggie dog for the first time @Corn Dog on a stick at the mall. (Made out of tofu but taste exactly like the beef ones) lol My portions are tiny now bc I can't seem to take in much without feeling like my Stomach is going to explode! I eat 1/3-1/4 of what I use to. No special diets really just healthier habits and No salt/sodium. And I stop drinking soda and switch to ginger ale. Definitely much more Plant-base foods, veggies. Staying away from beef for now bc old wise tales from mom/great grandma Saids beef makes scars heal slower & become darker. Couldn't hurt?!!

Sounds Good! I'm still trying to figure out what to eat when im.out and about, I've heard about beef, today I was tempted but didn't go there. Thanks for the tips!

You look so good. You must be over the moon, and amazing weight loss too.!!
I'm not doing so well with weight loss. Going to try harder see if I can shift a bit, find it hard losing without exercise but I don't think I could do anything yet. I swell just doing normal daily stuff. Patience I keep telling myself lol.!!

I jumped on the stationary bike for 10min & was wiped out. I hear u! Listen to our body. When I push myself it actually backfires and sets me back a week or so. I swell everyday when I am on my feet more than 8 hours. So now, if I have a long day, I go in my car mid-day and lay down for about 30 min, feet up. Then I don't have swelling later at night. Just try different things & see what works for you body. Our body was just butchered. It's take time to fully recover & all of us heals differently at different pace. The weight will come off, little by little. I know u can do it!! U made it through the TOUGHEST part- the SX. They say 80% is done by our PS. The 20% is aftercare and what we do afterward. You can do it!!!!

Ahh that's a good idea, in fact at the beginning of the week I had a super busy morning, mid afternoon and when I got home I rested for half hour before I started on dinner and sorted the kid and my swelling was better..
I hadn't thought bout the % like that before, yeah your right we have done well getting through this part the rest we can do.. feeling positive x

You are looking awesome! I went back to work this week and boy have I been swollen. I had nwver been this swollen, not even right after surgery. I look like I'm 4 months pregnant. I also went back to the gym on Wed and it felt so good to be back. I can't sit to get back to my regular bootcamp/crossfit classes. I'm going to try on Monday and my coach will modify the excercices if I feel like I can't do it. I only used the elliptical and leg machines on Wed and Thursday and I felt good. Keep up the good work? You are looking fabulous. Oh by the way, what have you used on your belly button scar? Mine seems dark and I've been applying what the doc gave me.

I've been using the Bio-oil on the BB, but only on the outside rim area. I don't do anything for the inside of the BB
