I wanted to add ... I had Exparel for pain and i did not had to take any narcotics. There was no constipation to deal with. I only took extra strength Tylenol for pain later on. I totally recommend Exparel for pain. i think it made my recovery easier.

I have been wanting a tummy tuck for some time now. After kids I had loose skin like everybody else. Before meeting with Dr Barrett I met three other Dr's in the area. They all sounded good in their respective manner but Dr Barrett definitely stood out of the crowd. I was hesitant to make appointment at first as they charged a consultation fee but sweet Rosalyn ( office manager) convinced me to meet Dr Barrett ( thank god she did ). Well truly Dr Barrett was on time and spent more than hour explaining procedure very clearly. He even performed a physical examination to check if there is any Hernia... None of the other Dr's I met did that. He always answered all the questions very clearly and honestly. They accommodated all my reasonable requests. Mainly I picked Dr Barrett because he explained how he does his tummy tucks differently with four layer sutures and his belly button techniques. His explained how belly buttons are not round, they are slightly hooded and he spends lots of time during surgery to make natural looking belly buttons. He explains the procedure in way that you can visualize. Dr Barrett is very knowledgable about his procedures. Overall everything about my tummy tuck experience the surgery center , the anesthesiologist, the nurses all were so wonderful. I am 2 weeks post op and I love my results.
